That rock was the absolute limit for the Kioti. I am looking at getting a 2 ton mini ex as with all the rocks around me nothing lighter will work. I already have a 16 ton Deere and it works good but too big for some of the places I have to go. Good review.
I have a similar machine and the same problem. I see other machines where the hydraulic thumb retracts almost parallel with the arm. I believe that it is a design fault and am looking at fitting a shorter hydraulic cylinder on the thumb.
You done well to get that big brute out of the hole although I thought your Kioti was going to fall over when you hopped out. May have been better with your heaviest implement on the back. Be careful out there.
Very rarely is it a problem, a non hydraulic thumb would be better at being put away but I use the thumb a lot and would not want a non hydraulic thumb, I don't do a lot of deep digging and that would be when its a problem I guess.
Perfect I am planning to rent a 2 ton machine tomorrow and I have some big rocks to move and wanted to see if there was a video of one moving big rocks and your show was the first one so you answered my question pretty impressive thanks bro
If you wanted to buy another machine threw alaibaba. Would you do it again. And does the machine you bought seem in good condition and working order to your satisfaction.?
Yes i love it! Was going to buy a skid steer from LTMG as well but found a great deal on a used one locally. As long as you can wait 3 or 4 months for the alibaba one you will be very happy.
Hey I’m currently in the process of going through with the purchase of a shandong 2ton ht20 mini it’s the upgraded model with the upgraded engine and I’m ordering literally every single attachment. I mean to get a hammer for 900 and buckets for 2-300 it would be foolish not to take complete advantage of all the extras. So right now with the upgraded machine and all the bells and whistles I’m at 17,000 what could I expect to pay in shipping or at the dock when it gets here and stuff like that? Thank you
How did everything work out for you on your machine? I'm considering ordering one. Would you recommend the one you purchased? Any advice or anything you would do differently having done it? Thanks in advance
I tried this also the nightmare is when it gets to the states. Tariffs r insane. A whole bunch if extra fees at the port. Avoid importing. Just buy one off of craigslist
@@doylemaintenanceThanks, just curious. That's not the best method for removing a large, embedded rock. But hey, it worked! If you have that machine insured, you might want to remove that video. It can be used against you for certain claims. Insurance companies are now checking business and personal websites, including Facebook and CZcams, for reasons to deny claims. Local renters are doing the same. They are also suing people for using machinery that falls outside of their signed lease agreements. Even if you don't break it. Be careful about what you post.
@@davidbendall7919 it's only insured against theft. I don't owe anything on it and I have excellent credit score. Believe it or not that's what they want to know here in Canada. entretaining video for us men to watch

How many hours the machine already has?

Wow! I wouldn’t have even tried that. Well done!

That scared me when you got out. I jumped thinking the tractor was going to roll.

Ya I have another machine that I use to move rocks that big I'll reveal in a later video lol
KIOTI.. i didnt see no Kioti?
is this similar to the Terror XVIII Mini, with the kubota? does yours have a hydraulic filter in addition to the cooler?
do you find that the thumb is in the way when digging with the arm fully extended.
I feel that the thumb should retract to almost parallel to the arm

Great looking machine, I’ve been looking at importing one to the UK where I live. Did you buy it with the standard engine or upgrade to the kubota?
Mines Kubota. either that or yanmar, Do not get gas engine, its way too noisy.
You could get rich in California, people with dirt will pay good money for rocks and people with rocks pay a lot of money for dirt
Good and heavy work with a little excavator 👍

Depends on were your located. Mine was on a train from bc to Toronto. Most of my shipping cost was that not the seafreight.

freight was 450usd but I know that there will be lot more. VAT is 25% of total price (excavator+freight)
Sir, how much experience did you have operating heavy machinery before making this video?
I'm gonna say maybe 30 hours total. I can pat my head and rub my tummy at same time though.🤣

Well that's a nice rock what do you plan on doing with it now. Maybe next time just dig a hole beside it and push it in.
I have an old quarry I dump my rocks into to fill it up and trying to make it level again. It's half full now.
Wow!! Is that a kubota diesel engine??
Yes sir
A little small to be a S Dak Rock lol
That's a big pebble. Is this where these mini diggers fail though, asking too much or over asking too much. Is the excavator a mini beast then?
Better than by hand lol
