    That rock was the absolute limit for the Kioti. I am looking at getting a 2 ton mini ex as with all the rocks around me nothing lighter will work. I already have a 16 ton Deere and it works good but too big for some of the places I have to go. Good review.

    I have a similar machine and the same problem. I see other machines where the hydraulic thumb retracts almost parallel with the arm. I believe that it is a design fault and am looking at fitting a shorter hydraulic cylinder on the thumb.

    You done well to get that big brute out of the hole although I thought your Kioti was going to fall over when you hopped out. May have been better with your heaviest implement on the back. Be careful out there.

    is this similar to the Terror XVIII Mini, with the kubota? does yours have a hydraulic filter in addition to the cooler?

  • @EuphonicsOfficial
    @EuphonicsOfficial Před 11 měsíci +1

    do you find that the thumb is in the way when digging with the arm fully extended.
    I feel that the thumb should retract to almost parallel to the arm

    • @doylemaintenance
      @doylemaintenance  Před 11 měsíci

      Very rarely is it a problem, a non hydraulic thumb would be better at being put away but I use the thumb a lot and would not want a non hydraulic thumb, I don't do a lot of deep digging and that would be when its a problem I guess.

    Hey I’m currently in the process of going through with the purchase of a shandong 2ton ht20 mini it’s the upgraded model with the upgraded engine and I’m ordering literally every single attachment. I mean to get a hammer for 900 and buckets for 2-300 it would be foolish not to take complete advantage of all the extras. So right now with the upgraded machine and all the bells and whistles I’m at 17,000 what could I expect to pay in shipping or at the dock when it gets here and stuff like that? Thank you

      @@doylemaintenanceThanks, just curious. That's not the best method for removing a large, embedded rock. But hey, it worked!
      If you have that machine insured, you might want to remove that video. It can be used against you for certain claims.
      Insurance companies are now checking business and personal websites, including Facebook and CZcams, for reasons to deny claims.
      Local renters are doing the same. They are also suing people for using machinery that falls outside of their signed lease agreements. Even if you don't break it.
      Be careful about what you post.

      @@davidbendall7919 it's only insured against theft.
      I don't owe anything on it and I have excellent credit score. Believe it or not that's what they want to know here in Canada. Insurance fraud is huge. Getting things stolen due to over financing. If you have great credit they are not as worried about you.
