Trying to keep busy and do things that I enjoy instead of things I have to after retiring from 37 years of trucking. Basically a personal vlog that you can follow along with......or not.

Set the correct backlight color and brightness setting and try again. Also take the time to make another video in the event that this was a failure to read and follow instructions. If it actually is unfixable and you find no settings that satisfies your visual needs, let that be known too. My first outing with mine, facing west into the late afternoon sun created a "no see" for me but I had read the instructions prior to leaving home and quickly reset the text color and backlighting and no problems seeing. If the adjustments either do or don't solve your problem it's incumbent on you to either set the record straight good or bad. An uninformed review good or bad is not fair to the viewers or the manufacturers.
I've retested it and I use it all the time now. With snow in the foreground the "snowblindness" still makes it impossible to read. I stand with this video 100 percent accuracy in my findings. If you don't have light behind you reflecting onto the units screen it is impossible to read NO MATTER what the backlight setting is at, There is no "light" in its screen, you are just adjusting the contrast. I may do a review though on the phone APP which sucks also, Viewers should be told that it blow's and Garmin should be ashamed of it.
there is no way that is 2 ton
How's she holding up now? How many hours on it? Any issues?
about 160 hours, she's good still, no issues.
That was flipping cool. Thanks for taking the time to film this. I could watch this all day...
Thanks !!
Did a great job with this truck. Hope it sells to a good home.
good video !!
Can you please clarify the cost . Was it $2700 or $27000 Plus $5000 delivery ? Because for $32,000 Why would one not just buy a name brand. Thank you the video and the information.. Also did you get a warranty? I bought an AGT DM13-C from auction new/unused. Just because it seemed such a hassle to do the Shipping from China with all the hidden fees associated with that.
@@Orvillehuit33 total was 27000 canadian. Including delivery. This machine is now cheaper to buy but the features have changed to less bells and whistles. They needed to cheapen it to compete with the super cheap ones
@@Orvillehuit33 brand name machine here in Canada are $50,000 for 2 ton
VERY KEWL!!❤
Thanks CW!
Truck looks good with the fresh paint and new tires!
Thanks Ken!

NICE!!! Have fun!
What are you charging for those jobs? If don't mind me asking! Thanks
@@SGsamsky was charging 120 per hour plus what ever gravel cost (if any). I wasn't adding to gravel cost price just the 120 per hour. Including travel time from my house.
@@doylemaintenance Thanks!
Turned out great, love your color combination! Best of fun in your YJ
Thanks
Looks just as good in person. Look forward to taking it for a spin. Great job Bud!
Thanks Darren
Love this YJ save series! You’re doing a great job!
Thanks
Your doing great on the rust repair! I’m behind on your videos just found your channel! Looks like it’s going to be on the road in no time!

Nice jeep
Thanks
Wow, I MEAN WOW!!!! (that's sarcasm, by the way!)
@@icarossavvides2641 at least it didn't take up too much your time At the time getting the motor to turn with it meant I rebuilt it correctly. It was originally turning the wrong way(the starter). So it was quite a happy moment at the time.
I have a large 22 collection and I've never heard of it either. But I started to get into the European single shots. There is a lot I never heard of.
I often thought about making a utv towing rig just for situations like this.
Good money in it cause regular tow trucks wont go offroad, This was a 5 hour recovery and was charged 600 bucks.
Glad you’re ok. Next year you’ll be ready to finish!
Nice job!
@@MnMarine1 thanks Mike
You are not only a starter you are also a finisher. RARE. The definition is a pioneer. You get shit done.
Thanks😊
Got a 60 here hustler on uneven land and frankly, it’s a charm. I have no problems with wheel spins, although I am really good now with the controls ghost where I want cut so I want I’m real happy with it.
I had dozens of wheeling videos on my old channel. I need ta dig my old hard drives and see what I still have!! Fun times liftin wheels!!
@@cw2a Would be great to see.
That was quite the trail!! I bet it was fun.
@@kenbell8752 it's awesome day when you drive it home 😜
Nice! I want one of these on my car!
1100 lbs so you need good suspension
@@doylemaintenancewell rust has taken care of some of the chassis weight reduction...! But Won't be changing the cast iron block for alu anytime soon tho. 1100lbs worth of fun is worth it's weight in gold! 😉
I had major trouble starting my YJ, 91, four banger. Installed a new fuel filter, dropped the tank, new fuel pump. Still no go 😅 Went to the junkyard and purchased a rebuilt ECM, fired right up. Also, removes the plastic fill tube in the tank. Added five more gallons to the fuel capacity. Now, half way through the RC 4” lift. Will replace the water pump soon after completion of lift. Will try to get my courage up to install limited slip.
Your problem is that the rear tire width and tread pattern are causing less traction. Change the tires, but drop the pressure to 9 to 11 psi first. The work you did, as per traction, is for not. You seem happy, enjoy the smoother ride - that is why Ferris has it. Where do you think the weight goes if one or both front tire comes off the ground.
Excellent
Do you sharpen your blades?
No I take them to a guy who does for 15 bucks each.
Did the mount works good in your oppinion. What can you about after a few month. Want to buy one maybe. Thanks
@@narf.22 no complaints. Rifle has stayed in zero. I'm using them on my 308 sabatti now.
@@doylemaintenance Thanks for the Feedback. Will install the mount on my tikka t3x ctr also in .308

Holy crap man, that is walking a tightrope
I was happy to see it was actually as tight as I thought, I went through the river this time though LOL
@@doylemaintenance No doubt! Well you made the Dacre video for sure. I just posted it.
Dude, your tires are over inflated. They should have 8 to 10 psi of air. Not 16! Give it a try and see what happens. We have the same mower with the flex forks.
O my 😮
We picked up and turned in the rotopack at Griffith checkpoint.
I have two toros 48” and 52” that are rigid just like this no independent suspension never had this issue. 48” couple years old the 52” is maybe 15 years old. Good luck with it.
I wonder if it would be possible to do it without a tractor, seems impossible
do you think it could saw through oak (is 15hp enough), did you try?
@@ytrew9717 yes red oak no problems. I've done lots. There is a hardwood blade would work best
In europe (France) the cheapest sawmill is around 5k€ (vs 2.5k$ in us!), seem no choice to go chinese
SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT HITCH that looks Dangerous
Rated for 21,000lbs not sure what you think is dangerous about it? Can be used either way up or down.
Those tires are supposed to be set at 8-12psi per the manual. Put them at 10 and you should notice a difference in traction and ride comfort
That is my KRX in the thumbnail!
Thats a good idea man! Nicely done!
Nice save! LoL......
