Obviously every video by STEEZY is great, but I always appreciate it a little more when they drop history lessons. Thanks, STEEZY!

Agree!!
Pov reading this comment after the heal toe thing
Okay but this is like one of their main distinguish points - to contribute to dancing community and honor the history of Dance. I really appreciate that â€
These are all moves from when I was little. The 80's introduced a whole new era in rhyme, rhythm, music, and creativity. It's kinda funny doing my childhood moves today and watching my daughter say, "Wow!"
Lol Tutting like a Madman!!! Clay absolutely greatest teacher
I love when youâre in the video, Clay! So much to learn from you â€đ
I try đ„čâ€ïž
Kick ball change 0:24
Arm Wave 1:34
Knee slide 3:12
Scribble foot 4:02
Heal toe 5:05
Bedrock 6:37
Where's crazy tutting arms?? đ
@@steezystudio In all our dreams.
NOW I want to learn crazy tutting arms...
I actually yelled "crazy tutting arms" at the end đąđą
I'm so sorry for deceiving you đ
Steezy am really grateful for your contribution to my dance journey
I don't know if you may see this comment but am really grateful and I will work hard to fulfill my dreams of being an idol and get a chance to dance in the steezy studio
Once again thank you
Dude, you're an amazing teacher!
One of the best instructional videos I've ever seen.
So clear and easy to understand
I got to learn dancing from regular dance classes, but for those who are teaching themselves, these are really good moves to know!! Theyâre all used in kpop dances all the time! I could think of at least 1 kpop dance that contains each move haha. Itâs a good idea to get well acquainted with these moves so that learning other dances is much easier! :)
I spotted to ressemblance to kpop too! Hip hop is really a used genre in it so this is even better:)
These moves really are simple AND impressive! â€
It feels good to already know all these moves (minus the arm wave) but now I can show this video to my friends
Great as always!! I never know what to do with my arms, so all the suggestions are very much appreciated - and the crazy tutting arms running gag made my day :D
Thank you as well for always informing about the origins of dance moves/ styles!!
This video is so cute but very helpful. These steps are all of the classics.
Steezy videos bring so much fun, joy, and humor to learning dance. Ty!
So glad you enjoy our videos!! Thank you for the kind words
It's amazing how you just explain it so simply and in detail. It's funny how I know the steps but never the names hahaha. And to answer your question, when I learned the move, I learned it as the happy feet đ€
Clay's sweater reminded me of how much I need another Steezy merch challenge in my life. I need to redeem myself for not getting one the first time. đ
I'm a praise dancer, and I want to say thank you for this video and breakdown of moves! â€
I love Clay, he's the best â€ïž
Definitely grew up learning it as a Heel and Toe
That video was great. I smiled through the whole thing đ
I love Clay's energy so much!!
Iâm not down like that with other ones but I am down for and love to do the V-Step (thatâs what I grew up calling them) with *CRAZY TUTTING ARMS*!! Also waving.
I also like to tut or wave while gliding, which feels somewhat similar to the V-Step and its variations.
THANK YOU! also showing us where these moves derived from. â€
I just LOVE CLAY! He is not only a GREAT dance instructor, he is soooo freaken funny! He should seriously consider doing an interactive standy up comedy/dance instruction show at the Improv or something... He would KILL IT, while teaching all the rhythmless "bounce dancers" how to dance at weddings and for their "one night a year out in the club" . I could be a win-win for everybody!
Love this so! đ Learning to dance with so much fun! Thanks for your great videos!
I really love these "basics" hope to see more clay ! :D
Tysm!! â€â€
Im down!!!
I love the history lessons! This CZcams channel makes me so happy :)

Thanks a lot đ
Itâs the way ive been doing these basics but i need to never forget them when i dance
Wicked smooth technique. Nice instructional. That heel toe is also known by some as the crunk walk but that's a little different.
OMG YES IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE FIRST MOVE FOR FOREVER
Pretty good and detailed on the steps. Very clean break down! đđ
Hi Steezy! I want to learn how to dance, but I don't know how. I'm a student and I don't have money. I hope that I'll become a better dancer someday. Thanks!
You could use CZcams... Dancers such as Mihran Kirakosian have free CZcams tutorials on their channels, as well as Poppin John (for popping) and Steezy also has free guides like these. CZcams has a lot of tutorials, and also watching others dance could help you pick up some moves
crazy tutting arms đ„đđ
Hi, I love EDM and I love shuffle dance but I'm not really good at it.
STEEZY is such a 'GREAT' app and I would be really excited to learn shuffle dance under STEEZY.

So simple and so good. Greetings from Argentina đđ€đđ€đđŠđ·
Great moves! Now I have to implement crazy Tutting into everything lol
Can you please add a composition of all those at last because it's hard to digest all those đ đ
Awesome.
For the bedrock I like holding my right arm across my body like Iâm holding a bowl, then âmixingâ with my left hand. Itâs such a fun little move to do đ
This is the way đ„Łđș

The shoes are really cool!!!!
Don't know why this was recommended. But this dude is so funny and breaks things down so well! Thanks!
The fun the lesson is. The more you understand (like FR)
Clay is so good at acting! Even if you already know all the moves and base, it's a pleasure to watch! We need a movie or serial sitcom with Clay, he's like one of the Friends, very talented! He's like your fun friend!đđđđđ
You're too kind!!! â€
Im new to dancing, I got inspired by hip hop dancers and those funky music to start dancing, but i dont know where to start.
Hey team, go make two eight counts with these moves. GO GO GO đđŒđđŒđđŒ
ok dad
For me its orange justice, one or two step , party dance.
what's orange justice?
He really hit that Beast - Fiction at the endđ Just missing the hands in the pockets
This was a great video. The terms make it so much fun. I loved pancake squishing arm, but the most fun thing was the crazy Tutting arms. Everyone was laughing which made everyone hit like, watch the video again, save it to a playlist, and subscribe if they weren't already subscribed like I am. Thanks for making this video so much fun to watch.
Hahahah the crazy tutting arms get me every time
Great history on the heel toe names, ha. I haven't seen a dance move with more names than that, and I've also heard it called the "James Brown step"
Nice nice do you guys at steezy appreciate Nigerian dancers
Of course!! Maybe we should do a video and bring in a Nigerian instructor to teach some Kpakujemu, Focus Dance, Legwork, Etighi, or Gbeku huh?? đș
ok man was not expecting this. sorry for stereotyping. but absolutely great and easy to follow. more informative than most so called hip hopesque channels I am subscribed to. you got a new follow. now off to do homework on everything on this channel. merry Christmas and thanks for the great content
Funny and informative video! đ
STEEZY is so Clayzee

I GOT IT LIKE THAT
I'm SO down, tho. Like *REALLY* down. Let's DO this!!
Go Bucs!
I lack both the confidence and athleticism required for dancing, but seeing it done is still fun.
In line dance the happy feet is called an apple jack
Can yâall do a class on the Girls Hiphop style in Asia? And also on Soul Dance?
The kick ball change is formally called the âBrooklyn Top Rockâ (or simply the top rock) and the modern version we know today comes from b-boying (a.k.a. Break Dancing)
