    Excellent! I'm glad you were able to get your hands on such a great piece. I've aways been festinated by DLP tech, but this one is just insane.

    The 2 large Panasonic MB87Jxxx series chips seem suspiciously a Fujitsu collaboration . Possibly based on MB87J21020 LCD/CRT/TV controllers from early 2000s developed at Fujitsu's Europe design centre. Great teardown of a device that must have a flagship product in its day. 🇦🇺

      I disassembled a smaller! Now we have all 3 sizes. Perfect :)

      Now repair them so you can play back each of the videos on a different sized projector than they show being disassembled. Surely that'll break some universal constant or another.
