this is perfect! She literally takes you to another place in her singing. She draws you into her world and feel her. As a singer I hope I'm able to be as great of an artist as her and captivate my audience attention like this.
She's amazing. She did a collab with PJ Morton and the performance won a grammy. All her collaberations are special. Gravity with Clark Beckham is a must, her very first video to her song Evergreen which she wrote for her mom who commited suicide shortly after this My Mind performance. The filming of Evergreen was done in the church her and her mom used to attend. It was the first time she was able to go back to the church since her mom passed. I follow her on IG and shes such a cool person.

If you haven’t already reacted to Abbey Smith and Clark Beckham doing the John Mayer song, “ Gravity “, you may want to listen/watch this one. Clark was runner-up on Season 14 Idol and heard Abbey ( YEBBA ) sing, he d.m.’d her and ask her to come to Nashville to record “ Gravity “, with him and she accepted. THANK GOD. They will take you to church with this recording and you can enjoy another side of Abbey and be introduced to another fantastic singer, Clark Beckham. ☺️

Her mother died by suicide about a week after Yebba sang her first original song, causing "My Mind" to take on new meaning representing mental health. She says her artist name was chosen to honor her mother, who she said "always called her by the nickname" (her name Abbey written backwards) as a child.
I guess from what I’ve seen , her mom committed suicide and her bf cheated on her. Where that pain comes from. Such a powerful performance. She might be one of if not the best singer I’ve ever heard. Crazy
