Well, I bought this one just to give it a try. The cleaning solution really helps dragging the dirt down, and one bottle worked for about 60/70 LPs. After that it became really dirty so I bought another one. Tried making my own solution but the Knosti one has a very good surfactant that does the magic. It does clean the records.
The static in my house is quite a problem and this also helps getting rid of that.
In the future will try a DIY machine using vaccuum but Im really happy with this one
This video was very helpful. Compared to looking at pictures and reading a written review, this video gave me a better sense of what the Knosti looks like and how to use it. Many thanks for posting it.
Good demonstration. I ordered this cleaning set a couple of days ago. Seems to work like a charm.
Thanks for the feedback Livetys Wiretys! It is indeed a great little set at a reasonable price!
Should have done a dry run first and get used to using the unit but yeah good demo and piece of kit ..mines in the post
YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL when using this machine. Although the clean can be ok, YOU do RISK ending up (like I and others have ) with DAMAGED LABELS on several records, on the second wash. using the first generation machine. Not sure if the latest non ultrasonic model remedies that. On mine, a solid plastic adge on the casket which clamps the record at both ends rubs on the label in a circular motion as you screw it in. A recipe for disaster, especially if you are unicky to get the label wet, which is likely.
I hope knosti do something to remedy this , and the sharp edges and corners on the underside of the white plastic caps which 'coats' the top-end of each divider on the rack. These too could cause damage to both vinyl and labels.
Due to such terrible shortcomings I am now looking for a different machne altogether.
Good video! Excellent job!
Hi Gijs, thanks for the comment!
Wont the liquid get on the label and damage it as it is in a vertical position?
There's a guy in the UK who (if you send him the covers) makes silicone moulds to fully protect the labels. I purchased 2 of these but noticed on a test run that without the moulds it isn't fully sealed and scratches around the label.
You should rinse your record afterwards not just put them in the rack.
Just get a tupperware tub so the record can be immersed in some deionized water not distilled 5% isopropanol 3 drops of anti frizz hair conditioner mix well put the record in swashing it about an and out leave to dry, you should always be done after vacuuming them as well never dry records with cloth
Anyone know what the cleaning fluid is made of?
We're unsure exactly what Knosti use but we know it's alcohol based.
how does this differ from the nearly identical Vinyl Styl Deep Groove Record Washer System?
It seems like the products are fairly similar, we do believe in Knosti and know they have fantastic quality products. I am sure Vinyl Styl does too but we've personally never had these instore.
@@HifixCoUkFrankHarvey thank you :)
Saddest demo ever seen, ok I'll buy it.
Glad you decided to buy it!
What do you accomplish by insulting people?

A salesperson that has to look at the directions when doing the video. Weird
We had bullet points on a card to read from, our sales staff are very knowledgeable he just wanted to get the information all correct.
It looks like you used a record cleaner for the very first time. I suggest you gain some experience first before making a tutorial ! Next time ask your granddad to give advice He knows how to handle a record!
