Excelent device for cleaning records. Probably the best in its' price range. There are some issues with the cleaning formula, it leaves a residue on the surface of the LP (BTW 30 min it's not really enough for the dry). After cleaning I use surfactant and distiled water and give the LPs a rinse (using the Disco Antistat of course) - there is no residue left and the vinyl dries much faster. Try it. I left my vinyls to dry for about 30 min (for the test) and 2 hours (for normal use), I think (yes the recommended 7min is not nearly enough) and I did not see any residue left on them. It is possible that if we have different batches of the mixture, the formula might be different as well, not sure. I read some use different formulas with distilled water and other things, but so far the cleaning liquid that came with it is good enough for me, might look into alternatives in the future. I did a lot of digging when I got this one and indeed, though it is not perfect, it is hard to find something better at this price. I had some really old vinyls from my father and they really needed a clean, this device worked wonders. Of course, it won't be as good as a 10k device, but it does the job.
@@Fubar06 the original cleaning formula is great, I use it also. In addition to that, after I clean the records I rince them with 1 part surfactant 200 parts distiled water, then let them dry. If not, you will find residue on the stylus. Go for it, tou will not regret
