It’s important to have a powerful enough motor to be able to knead dough since it’s a ‘tough’ job for a machine. Make sure you check manufacturer’s manual to make sure if you can make dough in your food processor.
I usually add a bit more water to the dough than needed, for smoother kneading, and then dust more flour and finish the final knead by hand. - Jak na to + styl

Hi how much noise this product make?I have a havells food processor n it makes hell lotta noise while kneading atta like drilling machine...
The noise is high but it is certainly better than the Inalsa Food Processor I was using earlier... Not sure about Havells...

I have been using it for the past 1 year now
You need to pour the water much much slower. I use the same food processor and when I do like that the atta doesn't stick to the machine at the end like how it is shown here.
That's a frighteningly high speed for dough making! Cannot do gentle kneading at all! BAD!
You can make dough in a food processor. I use a Cuisinart, which I have found to be a far better and safer machine.
Leave dough to settle for 10-15 minutes. Take a break also for all the hard work

Yes it is working absolutely fine till now...
I'm using this product, its fantastic & kneads flour perfect but use ingredients in proper proportion.
Obviously it has to be in proper proption. What is there? Atta and water. Just 2 things. Obviously it will knead perfectly only if water is sufficient.

@@HappyPumpkins It leaves behind sticky mixer which will take efforts to wash. Dough is not 'kneaded' as such. Please check Kent Dough/Bread maker, you will find it way easier and time saving compared to this food processor.

you are absolutely right. I have started using these appliances ONLY when there are too many guests expected at home. If I have to cook only for me, my husband and son - i prefer to do it manually...
Myself, Mom n dad all do house chores it keep us fit n fine, why to cry for time there is enough time only thing don't manage it. But currently hv no human is in the state of understanding this every one is over ambitious, running after collecting excessive money which is ultimately not going to give any kind of happiness but only multiple health issues. I m not against using technology but it should not be addiction. N what we do post utilising technology go to gym to remain fit.
we need it specially when you are working or like my mom who is 58yrs old and she has to cook , she gets tired, her hands hurt. Technology is a boon not a bane.

Rest of the attachment are good, But the Atta Kneading is a failed design as all the atta after adding water will stick to the upper teethes of middle stick attachment even after greasing with Oil and time you are trying to save in kneading is spent to clean that attachment its one and the same.This video shown also proves the same. I've used more than 3 Food processors till now from past 5 Years and most of the times for kneading.

Philips Processor Good for other Functions like slicing chopping in addition Quality of Motor good and Silent yet powerful. How ever Atta Dough Making Function very bad and messy, dough is not good, kind of sticky, Fault is dough making Blade too small hence does not spin dough properly failing to mix water and atta end result is sticky Glue like dough stuck on sides and blade. Blade fitting crude detaches from axis while spinning dough around, more over you will waste lot of time in cleanup. had a Singer Processor which did a excellent Kneading Job. Expected better from philips design team.
