@@steffiphill I grew up in Ohio and my HS had an award winning show choir. All of these song selections would not have been okay at my HS at all. My choir directors would never have gotten this close to us. However, we had a few stories of other teachers getting um close to students, male and one female that werenât fired.

I feel like the only solution wouldâve been to never do Gangnam style in the first place. If they had not given it to Tina people wouldâve been mad, when they did give it to Tina people were mad, there was no good solution besides not doing it.

The fact that they did Rocky Horror in a show about HIGH SCHOOL will forever be weird to me.
By the time my kid was 16, she'd played every character in Rocky Horror except for Frank-N-Furter. She's a clinical psychologist now, for what it's worth.

Toucha Toucha Touch Me definitely needs to be much higher. It was bad enough that Will pawed at Emma's chest the way it happened in Rocky Horror (not shown). But what made it really over the top creepy was the realization that Emma was only helping Will practice the role. The actual person in the role was Rachel and the thought that in the play he was supposed to be pawing at an underage Rachel's chest on stage in front of everyone was waaaaay too creepy.
Yes!! Like Emma actually sang the song really well but why Mr Schue gave himself that role is so confusing to me. Was he trying to get arrested?
Let's not forget Emma writhing on her back while STUDENTS did the lean over and sing "Creature of the Night" part. Finn, Brittany, Santana, and Kurt...
I mean I liked what I saw when Jayma ripped Matthew's shirt open so I don't have much qualms about that performance lol

I think it's because it's taken out of context... Some it's just will trying to motivate the kids. Some are him and other adults... Okay some are very weird but it played like a bonding time... It was singing show nothing made much sense but it was a good time

Quite a lot of these are supposed to make you uncomfortable. That's why I like Glee, their musical numbers aren't just bangers, sometimes they're cringingly funny, and most of the times we're cringing with the show and not at the show
Also who thought it was a good idea to tell Matthew Morrison, a Broadway legend, to rap. Matthew has an angelic voice that's best suited for ballads or anything else that's soulful

It's funny how many of these performances are Will Schuster...He was VERY inappropriate as a teacher. That said, can we take a moment to appreciate just HOW GOOD a performer Matthew Morrison is? He really is a good singer and dancer, like a modern Gene Kelly, despite the inappropriateness of his character!
after rewatching this video and hours and hours of research, I have need able to conclude that mr schuester is the reason for most of the uncomfortable songs. some statistics: around 60% of his uncomfy songs contain rapping; 20% are weird dancing with his students; 15% he has forced his students to sing or joins in with them; and finally the last 5% are every other time he sings a really cringey song and when people are in love with him. conclusion: he needs to be stopped!!!

I can understand the students singing suggestive songs to each other or the adults singing suggestive songs to each other, but... it was always when Schuster or another teacher would willfully do a suggestive song in front of / with his students that rubbed me the wrong way. Like... come on, seriously? Literally the only reason Schue wasn't fired before season 2 was because... honestly, I can't think of a reason.

I think an uncomfortable one for me is Tinaâs âI donât know how to love himâ. It wasnât that it was a bad performance or anything but it was just cringey bc everyone was just like âoh this is about Blaineâ and Blaine had absolutely no clue, not to mention that the scene where she performed the song was uncomfortably long.
