Yeah. They already do that w/eyeshadows is it? I was just ecstatic to finally be rid of Dim Light until I tried Enchanted Light and realised it also had microglitter in it. Why do I want microglitter on my face Hourglass? Bronzer, blush and highlight palette all the way. More space between pans too. I'm all about the fluffy brush these days and trying to not hit the bronzer or the rose blush above heat is hard.
I love it, too!!! Could you talk about how you get the curls or have you already? My stylist just yesterday put some stuff on my hair that helped hold the curl, but it was just too sticky… like it’s still sticky the next day. 🤪

It just goes to show how personal makeup and skincare is! The Tower 28 mascara doesn’t smudge on me, whereas the Lottie London super fake does. The Peach and Lily serum didn’t do much for me. I agree with you about the Tower 28 concealer though, that didn’t work for me either!
I think it’s fair to have 1 hourglass palette. It’s a staple if you travel and the product is unique. But once you have one, I don’t think you need another one.
The Hourglass palette is a tricky one. I love mine, but I don’t know that I would pay $90 for it. I used a discount code when I purchased mine. It really depends on your makeup collection. I have so many blushes. If I was using it everyday, it would be an easier decision.

I have that same Hourglass palette and love it. I use the more yellow setting/finishing powder all over and the white one as a soft highlight. They look like natural skin when applied lightly. The bronzer is too golden for my face, but it’s a beautiful eyeshadow. The more shimmery highlight is lovely too, if you want that look.
I got the Sol de Janeiro number 68, it smells so good to me, especially the sweet candy smell. But it really doesn’t last at all. It’s like I spay it on for 3 minutes and the note of the sweetness is gone.
Honestly I have no issues with the tower 28 mascara. I think its something that people are going to have to try them selves to see if it smudges or flakes on them.

Tower 28 Concealer - YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Thank you. I was so disappointed with how this wore that I assumed it must be me because everyone else loves it. I did like it at first, but similar to you, I found that it creased on me and made my under eyes look dry. It was actually the dryness that was worse than anything else. I'm in my thirties and I work hard to keep my under eyes hydrated. This concealer BETRAYED me.
im absolutely obsessed with the sol de janeiro 68 spray, for me it lasts all day and i love the scent! I prefer to spray a bit in my hair and bit on my neck and wrists then where i would usually spray it keeps a strong smell throughout the day
I LOVE 💗 this format! I have used the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi drops for years and years. Now that I live in a much colder climate and not in sunny ☀️ California I had to stop using it. It looked un-natural on my skin and also aged me. So I will mix it in with a skin tint or foundation sometimes. Kacki (love her) showed us this makeup hack that I’ve been using for weeks! So instead of using the D-Bronzi drops you put a cream bronzer on the palm of your hand and mix in your moisturizer then apply to your entire face and neck. It’s gives your skin such a seamless look while adding a little warmth to your skin. I love the Tower 28 mascara, I’ve probably gone through 4 or 5 tubes at this point. It’s one of the only mascaras that isn’t water proof but doesn’t budge or smudge on me. I can always count on it. I completely agree with you 💯 that the Persona powder blush’s are so much better than the cream blush (in my opinion and experience using both types) I also love the Summer Friday’s lip balm. I picked up another pink sugar and the more chocolate color. I loved 🥰 watching this video I hope you continue to use the ranking system!!
I really like the Kosas sunscreen. I wear it alone. It has some skincare in it and I’m not a heavy makeup wearer. I do like the Rare beauty blushes…I put on my hand first and apply with a brush. I did buy the hourglass jellyfish palette. I haven’t tried it yet, but got it on sale with a coupon.. I like the tower 28 concealer but I try to use a little amount. It creases bad if you use too much on older skin. 45 now..😔.

I actually really like the DreamStick blushes, but I don't wear foundation and am applying them over sunscreen or powder. I even draw them right on! They last on me for a remarkably long time, and while I don't think they dry down completely, my hair doesn't stick to them and they give a dewy-but-not-greasy look. ( I have combo skin, and prefer a mostly-matte look - and my sunscreen is annoyingly emollient and shiny.) I do like the NYX gloss formula, but at least for the one I had, the doefoot (buckfoot!) was too large for the stopper, and I had to double-dip to get enough product.
I’m gonna be honest, rare beauty blushes just don’t live up to the hype for me, they are way too pigmented. They sol de janeiro scent 68 is absolutely awful to me. The hourglass palette is totally worth the hype to me, along with the summer Fridays lip balm. I didn’t want to believe the hype but both of them were so good!
@@mickeycobbler4451imo the product "lasting longer" (in terms of amount) is not that good. it's a cream/liquid product, so it'll expire and go bad faster compared to powders which don't really go bad. i would feel wasteful for only using a tiny amount each time and having it go bad before i get anywhere close to using it all up
I have the e.l.f Halo Glow primer, as well as 4 Rare Beauty liquid blushes, and the Sol De Janiero 68 spray. I’ve been to,d that the So, De Janiero 68 smells very similar to Baccarat Rouge and to me it does because my older sister has Baccarat Rouge and I’ve smelled it before……very similar in my opinion. With the Rare Beauty blushes, a little bit goes a long way. The e.l.f Halo Glow primer is definitely one of my favorites….I actually start off with the e.l.f Power Grip Primer, and then mix Halo Glow with my Haus Labs foundation and ever since I started doing that…..my makeup looks airbrushed and when I take pictures it looks like I’m wearing a filter but I’m not.

Fenty in Amber Suede is my favorite shade for contouring on my pale cool toned complexion. I can't find anything cool enough for me. I like to rub the brush on it And put it on. I would rank it higher just because it's one of the few cool toned shades on the market.

Rare beauty formula is nice but theyre too cool toned, and for dark skin, can get ashy real quick. I prefer Juvias Place. Sol '68 is my favorite one of the line. I'd definitely repurchase but that would be the only one. I love love love fat oil. It performs slightly better than the fenty as i dont get that excess on the application, then of course my lips that I always have to wipe off.
My tower28 concealer creases bad on me and she’s still my favorite concealer love using it as a foundation too i plan on picking up another one if tower28 has a good deal on blackfriday hopefully they do !!
I probably am the only person who doesn’t like the Summer Friday’s lip balm. They slip around too much and don’t actually hydrate since they sit on top rather than sink in. I think the Tarte maracuja lip balms are more hydrating.
I think I’m the only one who doesn’t love the summer Fridays lip balm. The scents and colors are lovely but they aren’t hydrating enough for me, and the applicator is an awkward shape that wouldn’t work for most lip shapes (including mine)
Girl, I gave up on Tower 28’s mascara. I’ve tried two different times, and had the same results that you did. I finally gave it to my neighbor. It’s a lose-lose product for me.
I don't get the hype about the Tower 28 mascara, either. Mine doesn't flake or smudge, but it is SO clumpy right out of the tube. Like, I'm wiping the clumpy gunk on the rim of the tube before even attempting to put it on my lashes. NOT a fan, and I'm someone who enjoys a thick, volumising mascara. I'm considering trying the new brown version once it comes to Sephora in December if it comes in a mini, and that's only because I'm excited for any new brown mascara releases. I personally love the Rare Beauty mascara and would be interested to hear your thoughts if you ever want to try it. That's another one that I'm majorly hoping will be released in brown sometime soon (pretty please, Selena and crew!). And happy belated birthday, Kelly! 🎉 Welcome to the Thirty Club! I repurchased tower 28 mini this time. I think its OK. The concealer was a no for me due to the same reasons. I purchased a few of the fenty sticks during a sale awhile ago and I barely used them. Found them dry. I have one rare beauty blush and also barely touch, but I think that's more me not wanting to bother with the application method. I may try some products that go viral, but usually try to get a sample and often times I dont care for the product. Appreciate Sephora for providing samples on many if the products. I want to try those milani lip oils and the nyx. I purchased the haus labs concealer and loving it!
I've tried to pretend to myself that I like the debronzie drops because they cost me so much money, but if I'm honest with myself I really don't like them either 🤦. The only use they ahve in me is if I'm wearing a shade of foundation that's a little dark cause my tan has worn off so I put the drops on my neck and chest area. So they're I'll get used up, but putting them in my fave they looked awful. I am tempted to try the gold ones but I'll sit on it for a bit and think about it...

The fenty stix on an oily girl is the cream that sticks. I have 5 or 6. The stick formula is phenomenal for us.

Cheekbone beauty is one brand that makes such concealers and eyeshadows/contours. They are a smaller brand though so they need more exposure.

My 2 favorite lip products at the moment are Summer Friday's lip butter balm and the Nyx fat lip drip oil. I can't stop using either of them.

I sprayed the sol de janeiro in store and when i left i couldn't smell it! with in the span of 10 minutes it was like i never sprayed it
I thought of the Rare blushes being so pigmented was so that you didn't have to use too much. That way it lasts longer

I use D-Bronzi to mix in if I have too light foundations. Works perfectly. And does not change the foundation 🎉
The Tower 28 mascara has never smudged or flaked on me, and I have long eyelashes that touch my browbone

Sol '68 is my favorite one of the line. I'd definitely repurchase but that would be the only one. I love love love fat oil. It performs slightly better than the fenty as i dont get that excess on the application, then of course my lips that I always have to wipe off.

My tower28 concealer creases bad on me and she’s still my favorite concealer love using it as a foundation too i plan on picking up another one if tower28 has a good deal on blackfriday hopefully they do !!
I probably am the only person who doesn’t like the Summer Friday’s lip balm. They slip around too much and don’t actually hydrate since they sit on top rather than sink in. I think the Tarte maracuja lip balms are more hydrating.
Could you compare the viral lip balms? Specifically the Naturium, Rhode, and Summer Fridays ones in clear and the tinted versions?

I think I’m the only one who doesn’t love the summer Fridays lip balm. The scents and colors are lovely but they aren’t hydrating enough for me, and the applicator is an awkward shape that wouldn’t work for most lip shapes (including mine)
I don’t like them either- it slips around my mouth and disappears. It sits on top rather than sinks in to hydrate

Girl, I gave up on Tower 28’s mascara. I’ve tried two different times, and had the same results that you did. I finally gave it to my neighbor. It’s a lose-lose product for me.
I don't get the hype about the Tower 28 mascara, either. Mine doesn't flake or smudge, but it is SO clumpy right out of the tube. Like, I'm wiping the clumpy gunk on the rim of the tube before even attempting to put it on my lashes. NOT a fan, and I'm someone who enjoys a thick, volumising mascara. I'm considering trying the new brown version once it comes to Sephora in December if it comes in a mini, and that's only because I'm excited for any new brown mascara releases. I personally love the Rare Beauty mascara and would be interested to hear your thoughts if you ever want to try it. That's another one that I'm majorly hoping will be released in brown sometime soon (pretty please, Selena and crew!).

I repurchased tower 28 mini this time. I think its OK. The concealer was a no for me due to the same reasons. I purchased a few of the fenty sticks during a sale awhile ago and I barely used them. Found them dry. I have one rare beauty blush and also barely touch, but I think that's more me not wanting to bother with the application method. I may try some products that go viral, but usually try to get a sample and often times I dont care for the product. Appreciate Sephora for providing samples on many if the products. I want to try those milani lip oils and the nyx. I purchased the haus labs concealer and loving it!

I've tried to pretend to myself that I like the debronzie drops because they cost me so much money, but if I'm honest with myself I really don't like them either 🤦. The only use they ahve in me is if I'm wearing a shade of foundation that's a little dark cause my tan has worn off so I put the drops on my neck and chest area. So they're I'll get used up, but putting them in my fave they looked awful. I am tempted to try the gold ones but I'll sit on it for a bit and think about it...
