The drawback with this technique is that the mesh object tends to deform along the curve. You can see this where there might be sharp bends--the instances of the mesh can become noticeably distorted in these areas.
The new Geometry Nodes feature makes for a better way of doing this kind of thing while avoiding the distortion.

4:30 You didn’t have to delete the modifiers and then go through the work of recreating them afterwards; you could have just temporarily disabled them, then re-enabled them afterwards.

Viewers pls do not trust her tutorials in full as she is providing half information and half information is very dangerous. She has also hidden the left part of the screen and at 4:22 she show tells to join objects but dose not show how to do and instead dose smooth shade, I am sorry Amber if I have hurt you but if are uploading tutorials pls provide full info becoz once a viewer losses trust in you He/She will never return to your channel, you can refer to the channel of "Rayan King Art "
he is such a good tutor and provides complete and detailed info and as a beginner I have learned a lot from him.
