1. Ernakulam is like Chennai of Kerala. Malayalam movie industry is based on Ernakulam. But GOAT shooting happened in Trivandrum. Also a professional scenario which needs uninterrupted efforts to complete it on time. Not a casual visit. So not many actors could plan to meet him. Vijay neither. They would be working on their own projects respectively.
2. This crowd is not even 0.5% of Vijay fans in Kerala. It was mostly working days while shooting happened, still some managed to visit the shooting location, mostly students in the surrounding areas after college hours. And many families made it to reach there. If it was during holidays, more crowds would be there. Even I had work shift, so I couldn't make it in the first few days.
3. Cinema and politics are two different things here in Kerala. Here we don't usually tie both together. Stardom doesn't guarantee support for politics too.
4. Most of the general audience in Kerala get used to realistic movies. Content oriented, rarely has cinematic experience. So occasional other language movies, especially mass movies are a reason for the stress buster. We celebrate the theatre experience.
