      Hey Sal Thanks my man! Hope everything is going great with you and your family. Boring rib video but I have some crazy original recipes ready to go. Kinda put YT on the back burner as I'm not even sure why I do this.

      Looks like you're asking the wrong person but Noname can give you the answer if they want. I left it on for this recipe to keep everything very simple and easy to get more people cooking BBQ ribs at home. It helps hold the ribs together cooking them this way or people have to be even more careful handling them and I kinda like it once it cooked and crispy. Take it off if that's what you prefer but it doesn't make difference to me.

      Thanks. I have lots of original recipes I created to get done but I can't financially right now. Some recipes are just nuts and I shocked myself at some of the creations. Others are easy but people haven't thought of it yet. Simple twists.

    That looked awesome, never thought to warm up the bbq sauce or double coat them....thanks for the tips 👍

      @TheBarbecueShow  Před 5 lety +1

      Thanks so much! Gotta double coat them lol Get them nice and sticky. Yeah heat the sauce up a bit to help get it flowing and a bit thinner so it goes on nice and even without the weird brush marks. Give it a try.

    Does rub have a lot of salt? Always afraid of coating with rub-- feel like it would make ribs too salty.

    • @TheBarbecueShow
      @TheBarbecueShow  Před 5 lety

      No sugar is the number 1 ingredient in this rub but everyone's taste is different. I always try rubs and seasonings out straight before adding them to any food. A quick taste will let you know quick. Some BBQ stores even have samples to try.

      I almost died drinking ginger ale a while back. Just went down the wrong tube and I couldn't breath. Passed out and smashed my face off the floor which opened up my airway to breath again. Scary so live life to the fullest and have fun. Cool smoker basket tweaks my man! Keep cooking all the great BBQ and testing ideas out.
