- Day three at sea, but the ship to Iceland has a short stop on the Faroe Islands. Unfortunately due to the shop schedule I decided not to stay properly on these islands as I’d have to be there for over a week before the boat came back round, however, I was allowed off on foot for a few hours to experience all the beautiful tourist traps. After purchasing my magnets and walking about a bit, the ship sailed through the middle of the islands so we were all treated to the beautiful views.

Nice walk around especially the panorama from top of the hill almost as if you had a drone. Icelanders have those big trucks for winter travel. Sound with your new mic sounds like you are on a boat so that works.
Top marks for spotting a whale ... and for considering a zombie apocalypse at sea. Great video and Faroe looked beautiful in a 'quick visit' kinda way 🩷

Im glad we could get off too, it was a beautiful place and great to be able to have a break from all the stairs on the boat, even if it was just the port town. Great video 👍

That is certainly a cool country to tick off on your list of countries visited! I found on a ferry from Crete to Ancona that the more I looked at the lifeboats the more I looked at them. Almost like looking down when someone says don't look down.

That is one big ship!! Superb breakfast line up spoilt for choice. Liz trapped in the car deck for the rest of the crossing😩😩 o'h no😂😂 Faroe Island sort of reminded me of the Falklands when I worked there only a bit more modern. Love the Liz walk abouts and commentary. Great video.

Faroe Islands looks like most small places in Northern Norway
@6:46 it's not entirely by choice 😂 The rudders only work if there's enough water flowing over them, so go too slow = no steering!
Also surprised you don't have an offline maps app for how often you're off adventuring - would have definitely been useful here!
I learn a new thing every day, but I did prefer my theory that they were just badass/showing off.
I need to download something, next thing to look into…
@@R1_Liz TBF probably a bit of bad-assery and showing off too...they probably go in/out of that exact spot several times a day, they'll have it pretty well figured out!
do you think that star fish in the day sleep in the sea and at night they fly in the sky?....
I think we’d have a real problem if starfish started shooting out the water and into space at sundown…
Not keen on multiple foods,u hear horror stories on board 🚢

some ship's your not allowed to go back to your car bike for security etc
When the boat was stopped on the Faroe Islands the car deck opened because some people were leaving or boarding with their vehicles, so it was an opportunity to check on the bikes and make sure they hadn’t wriggled free

What you saw was a World War 2 Gun from the British which would have been used to slow down the Germans 👍
