By itself yeah, but in an actual mix you'd probably want to boost mids.
thanks

It's good but the high end feels kinda staticy. Maybe it would feel different in a master mix
probably, many guitar tracks sound awful when listening them isolated, but in the full mix sound great!
Wowđź right after the compressor, the sound is amazing....
Bro you are literally GOD SENT thank you for these vids
We need this for logic đđŸ
Youâre amazing thank you
ur the king
very cool. liked & subscribed.
sounds like an acoustic guitar sim with these piercing highs
Not gain matched :(
Can you elaborate?
@@brnktv when you process something with 1 or more plugins, those plugins may increase the gain of the track that theyâre on. sometimes when comparing 2 sounds, the one that sounds âbetterâ isnât actually better but just louder, so comparing a quiet guitar sample to a loud guitar sample isnât fully fair, because the quiet sample could be mixed better than the loud sample but it just sounds worse because itâs quieter. if you matched the gain level, that âloudness biasâ goes away because they are at the same gain level.
TLDR; louder sounds better (usually), so u gotta match the gain to make sure itâs actually better and not just louder
@@teithompson So gain staging. I figured that's what we were talking about, but I wasn't 100% sure. I guess I could have paid more attention to the video. Thanks for the great explainer though!
Love ableton
Mixed with what?
Could u make a video about live lite?
I saw in another video that the makeup gain in the compressor have to be turn off coz of the gain volume is that true?
Great loop, did you make it?
this is terrible lol
really broke his heart huh bud đąđą
just made the next n1 BillBoard song
I love ableton....
no expert but this is gonna clash with something in the track unless the guitars the main focus
My brother in Skrillex, can you mix guitar without⊠hearing how it sounds the mix??
lol, he means how to treat a raw guitar signal to be ready for the mixing stageđđđ, these are actually good tipsđ
Thank you... I have a prerecorded acoustic guitar audio. Is it possible to use effects on this recording using VST or any other software to make it sound better.
Yes
@@ReidStefanMusic can you please guide if possible

The original felt more organic and natural, I hate the compressor. A lot of modern productions always tend to eliminate the more natural and human touch of instruments and vocals. Certainly the original track would benefit from some work on it, but not compressing it so much that I loses dynamics.
Which version of Ableton do you use?
11.3 Suite

Hi. I can't find on my Ableton Suite 9 this stock: channel eq, pedal and echo. It's not included on my version?
It's not
@@mauricalavera ok, thanks!
Yea to bad the only way to get this is with elite version that cost $650
Why donât I have these stock plugins
Youâre probably using a lite or intro version of Ableton instead of the full paid version
Why not just use a plug in? Is this is a better way? Different strokes for different folks?
These stock plugins are included with your DaW for no extra cost
I love your tutorials but that doesn't sound good
Literally never scoop your mids
No
way too much high imho
How to mix guitars in ableton.....don't.
đ€ź
stick to vocals bro
Sounds bad
