Avid hippo player here. Love this speedrun! I've learned some new ideas from it for sure. I do dislike your move order somewhat lol.
Ruthless! I love it. And again with the accelerated hippo with d4 and c4 against the slow hippo i like that.
When Eric does that thing where he sloooooooowly moves a piece, I laugh every time.

I just got to that part and came down to the comments. SO GOOD. lol
I reached 1600 but not able to go higher as the attacking speed of opponent is very high, and it takes quite à time to setup around 9 moves to setup hippo

No i agree hippo setup is too passive it needs lot of moves to fully setup. In real games opponent's becomes much more agressive in move 10 n above.
