__________
Game description (from creator):
Lily's Well is a point and click horror game. In it, you play as a little girl named Lily and work to investigate a strange voice calling for help from the well outside her window.
In order to investigate the well, players must explore Lily's home and the area around it to find rope and rope substitutes. The longer the rope, the more Lily has to climb, but it's up to the player when it comes to picking out materials. Of course, using the wrong materials can have dire consequences for Lily.
There are ten different normal endings and three secret endings for players to find.

#Lilyswell #Lily #walkthrough - Hry
Just noticed that the font used in the menu makes the W in "Lily's Well" look like a H, making it "Lily's Hell"
If the creator actually thought of doing that on purpose then my opinion of them went up.
@@aWalkThroughLife same
Oh yeah, that was definitely purposeful.
Dear god, this father wastes so much literal time, money, and resources on just trying to get his daughter to listen to one thing! That is SERIOUSLY wasting your money!
"Well it might've costed me $682,000,000 and a whole bunch of background favors, but my little girl will finally remember to turn the light off when she exits a room!"
*gasp* "Daddy? What are you doing down here?"
*sighs and loads pistol* "Here we go again...."
Most good parents discipline their child by explaining to them what they did wrong and punishing them for misbehaving. As for him, he kills her to let the lesson sink into her soul (doesn't seem to be working). He's literally trying to create the perfect little girl that will always listen to him, without realizing there's no such thing as a perfect little girl. With that kind of dedication and resources, he could just make a little girl robot and be done with it.
@@aWalkThroughLife yeah, for a scientist smart enough to create cloning technology, he doesn't really seem smart enough to know the obvious XP
5 ropes, 8 ropes, alt 3 & the creepy implications behind the hidden painting ending are probibly what scared me the most watching this
Finally all achievements! thanks dude, helped me a lot
I learned there's a secret ending they added that I never seen a video of. If you use the trashcan outside the house to trash all rope material, it leads to an ending
Read the comments or description.
hey whats that on your pfp??
One more costume I would have loved veing unlockable is if, by getting the true ending, you could wear Original Lily's outfit
You missed a letter. If you check the mailbox when her car is there there is a third letter in the mailbox.
This one's much more organized than my video! I like how you ordered the Dead Ends in a row. Chapters sure are useful.
Sorry for not replying until now! Thank you for the compliment!
Great vid man
33:22 was the scariest part in the game for me lmao
For me as well! It's basically a jump scare.
The true Ending made me cry man 😢
thank you a hole lot!
i comend you for this one, it made me smile ☺
Lily: Subaru is just a girl now.
I heard there’s a ending if you discard all the rope
You are correct. I made a video showing it: czcams.com/video/OSiWbaNN_mc/video.html
Did the creator add it recently or something?
@@aWalkThroughLife Late response, but it was added in along with the means to discard possible rope items. I should also point out that the version you uploaded was a condensed version upon accessing it a second time.
@@StreetwizeJJ2 Also late response, but I re-downloaded and replayed the game and the stupid ending plays out the same way as it did in the video. Would you mind directing me to a video of the stupid ending that matches what you are talking about?
Where can i get all the bad rope materials to get The Worst Possible Job achievement??
Here's all the bad rope materials:
- yellow flower vine
- red berry vines
- yarn (do not knit it)
- toilet paper (in the bathroom)
- charging cord (search the front of the couch)
Lily's Well but the w looking like an h. Lily's Hell is far more appropriate for what he's done to those clones, or period really. Also, were those secrets supposed to be references to other games the Dev created?
Some are, yes. The painting specifically.
Hello aWalkThroughLife,
I was wondering if you'd be interested in playing a game I made? It's called The Creature's Game and some information about it is: You've been asked to playtest a new game, something, you find out, that has been playtested by several others. This isn't your ordinary game, though. Something is a bit...strange. What happened to the other playtesters? What exactly is going on with this game?
There's a total of 3 cut-scenes and 8 endings.
If you're interested in playing it, you can find it by searching on itchio. It's under Danielle's games.
I went and played it. While the premise is interesting, I'm sorry to say I wasn't a huge fan of it. Hope you don't mind some feedback (Spoilers ahead for those who want to play it and haven't yet):
- While the game is made to appear glitchy, I'm fairly certain I came across some real glitches, such as the game not going back to the menu after destroying the creature (and clicking the continue button). Also, after getting one of the endings and starting again, the music from that ending continued to play even after I started a new game, playing at the same time as the starting music.
- Overall, the game doesn't offer a challenge and the content isn't intriguing. There were many parts of the game that were just boring and tedious. There are sections where you're just moving in one direction for a long time with nothing interesting happening, such as the level after being asked to erase the game (by the way, thank you for allowing me to skip it) or the one where the weird creature appears. There's also the section where you're searching in the dark to find levers, which was just boring; there was no challenge to this and nothing was happening except me moving through the dark. Having multiple endings means that you hope or intend for the player to replay the game, so you'll want to design the game with replay value in mind. This could mean having a save system, a way to quickly progress through dialogue and cutscenes, have random events or occurrences that can happen for each playthrough to make each playthrough unique or simply making the game less monotonous as to encourage replay.
- I understand the overall premise of the story; playtesters being trapped in a game, but aside from that, the story is either confusing or isn't being explained properly. What's the creature? Why does the game show a cutscene of Chloe being stuck in the game when she was presented as being a part of it already? The game could have presented many of the playtesters as interactable characters who are desperate to escape, maybe some showing some real emotion like "I just want to go home" or "I can't feel anything anymore. What am I?".
- I believe the game is supposed to be a creepypasta type of early access game, which would explain the minimal graphics. However, nothing really scary happens. Sure, some "glitches" happen, but they are predictably scripted (and consistent between playthroughs) and aren't surprising because the player is alerted right at the beginning that something weird is happening. With this type of genre, you typically want to lure the player into a false sense of security or serenity, that way when the turn comes, it has shock value. Take Lily's Well for example; it has a wholesome beginning cutscene and then seemingly turns into an adventure RPG where she tries to save someone from a well. Even after the first death, the game continues to surprise the player with mystery (Lily's increasing lvl, the disturbing plants, the strange cave) and the evolving story that "not everything is as it seems". While your game does have some twists and turns, they don't pack a punch due in part to the limited graphics being presented (they might also confuse player because they might not be sure what they're looking at). For Lily's Well, you spend most of the game as a small pixelated sprite on a screen, but for the disturbing sections, more detail is put into the artwork. You'll also want to utilize sound effects and music; these alone can have a tremendous effects on player mood, creating an uneasy feeling if done right.
- You might want to remove the "Continue" text box and maybe just either replace it with something that fits with the artwork or tell the player early on to press a button on their keyboard to proceed.
I hope you don't get discouraged from my feedback. I hope you'll continue to work on games in the future!
@@aWalkThroughLife Thank you for playing my game. I'm sorry to hear you weren't a fan. I understand, though. Thank you, also, for letting me know about the issues you ran into.
I fixed the issue with the music. As far as the issue with not being able to continue on after the creature getting destroyed ending, I'm not sure why you weren't able to. I went to that ending and I couldn't recreate the problem you ran into.
I also went and added a ship ahead option in different areas of my game, just incase anyone wanted to use it.
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to play through my game.
hey wanted to let you know you missed a letter there is 3 letters that I know of
Can you provide any details about how to get it and what it says? (if you can, put it in your original comment so others can see it).
Does anybody know the chance of the ladder appearing in the pantry?
It's the last achievement I need for 100% completion
@@kiingtii2070 Just keep entering and exiting.
Honestly the true end was wholesome despit arson
The Arson was wholesome because no other Lily's can be made to suffer again.
anyone finds the Unknown Caller Achievement ???'
Just a suggestion; did you try dialing the phone number before you got all the deaths that showed you the number?
39:15
does this actually lead to anything?
You mean reading stuff in that library?
@@aWalkThroughLife yes, the stuff in the archives. one of the books says to have lily die in front of her father. is that possible? does something happen if you do?
@@ShackleYT As far as I know, it's not possible (someone probably would have pointed out that I missed an ending). I think it's just included to point out just how messed up the dad is, a commentary of sorts. Think about it, the dad will kill you in cold blood himself, basically seeing it as part of the process of training you. Killing yourself in front of him, while it would have no lasting impact since you could be revived, might invoke something in the dad, as he might question "why would she do this? What have I done to her?".
