    Helpful vid, especially after I struggled to click into bindings in really steep terrain. He makes it look so easy! The generous standing platform is something I will take the time to make in the future.

    I thought locking the toe piece was only for skinning and would be dangerous when skiing

      Thats a choice you will have to make, sometimes I lock the toe to make sure my ski won't come off at all. usually in exposed, "fall you die" zones, or in super fast skiing with little to no chance for an avalanches. Like resort skiing or cliff dropping.
