Jamal Khashoggi: The Silencing of a Journalist | Al Jazeera World

  • On October 2, 2018, Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist working in the US for the Washington Post, entered his country's consulate in Istanbul to process paperwork - and was never seen again.
On the same day, a 15-man Saudi hit squad had allegedly flown to Istanbul. All the evidence points to Khashoggi's murder, suggesting that his body was first dismembered and then disposed of.
The killing of the well-known journalist and critic of Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has resonated around the world, both as an attack on media freedom and as a shocking insight into the workings of a secretive and repressive regime.
The horrific story has been well documented in the media but there are still pieces missing and serious questions remaining unanswered: What happened to the body? Why did two weeks pass before Turkish investigators were allowed into the consulate to examine forensic evidence? And who was ultimately responsible for the killing?
Al Jazeera Arabic's Tamer Almisshal goes to Istanbul to try and find answers. He has pieced together the chronology of events - and examined the theories as to what may have happened to Khashoggi's body.
In mid-March, Saudi Arabia announced it had started court proceedings against those it believes were involved. The Kingdom still refuses to agree to a UN-led investigation, and despite the volume of powerful evidence, we still don't know whether those ultimately responsible for Khashoggi's death will ever be openly held to account.

This murder of Jamal is not limited to Saudi Arabia, many countries, western and eastern perpetrate crimes like this every year. The UK is a great hub for these types of crimes, every other day we have some political activist or politician or secret service operative arrested or murdered....and each excuse the British government gives for the deaths is as laughable as those by the Saudi state. Look up the story of Gareth Williams who killed himself and then looked himself inside a bag, locked with a padlock from the outside because the government said he likes houdini....or the story of David Kelly or the story of Jean Charles de Menezes.
You don't even need to be their enemy to become a victim. You can just be a normal person who does nothing political. If you become a part of a plan that they have you will disappear and have no recourse for justice.
The world that we live in is sadly full of corruption, perversions and abuse....and it will get worse. Why do I say it will get worse? because change is in the hands of the young people....especially those in universities. When you go to universities all those who have views that are contrary to certain political narratives are quickly silenced and removed from the universitY. Education systems are acting as a platform to filter out undesirables and empower certain political views....some of which are extremely draconian, terroristic and deviant. The good are having power taken away from them and the bad are being empowered. Our future will be in the hands of worse people than those who rule over us today.

And this MBS killer none of those who have accused of killers to others and have killed them, have accused him of being a killer.
    Nobody has told him:.

Nobody has told the press that he is a killer, that he violates HR, nobody has told him he is a dictator.
