    Amazing documents doesn't need dramatic music effect as they are powerful and strong enough to deliver messages as it is and preserve the captured moment. Thank you for the video of these great photos. There are so many things that I learn and enjoy most when viewing the video with no sound.

      Can you elaborate whats exactly ridiculous about them? I guess some of the description is pretty much a verbatim copy of the original text written by the photographer of that era.

      I think for some like when /oe/ is used instead of /u/ it's an Indonesian who did the description. It's the old Indonesian spelling. Very bad indeed.

      The title for this video is ultra ridiculous if nitpicking is the name of the game here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 there's no Malaysia back then, only Malaya for the Peninsular 🤪 while Kuching was the White Rajah's capital before Sarawak was ceded to the British Crown after WW2 😏

    Most Malay style palace replace by Mughal-British style palace, most of are demolish except few are survive like Balai Besar Alor Setar, Istana Besar Kota Bharu, Istana Jahar, Istana Seri Menanti, and Istana Kenangan(Sultan House not a palace, temporarily resident)

    The empire during British colonial rule. Beautiful & the music..haunting. The train station at Kota Raja looks like Klang station, one of the first to be open. The colonisers gave us the tools & knowledge to advance. From the pictures, you realise the British valued open spaces & green lawns alot. Today, all that is gone

    damn it! I must state my protest here. Numerous times the term 'Kling' were used in the video to describe a temple puppet show, people from southern Indian continent, an Indian mosque & etc..
