Hades 2: Early Access Review After 30 Hours In, Unfinished Campaign Completed

I love the moon hex that makes you an invincible nightmare with the chain hadoken move, feel like the animations are bit buggy sometimes if you activate your hex while charging you attack or special, and I've had some bugs where I've become unable to actually walk, only dodge - but that bug seems to clear if I manage to clear a zone. Overall, it's shaping up to be a great game :)

It's great with some room to grow. I'm underwhelmed with the D. hammer upgrades, pretty much all of them. They do not really transform how any weapon acts. I get the omega magic moves basically are a special uniqe move per weapon but the variety pales in comparison to H1 weapon transformations.
Also, they straight dont explain a few things. I spent 20 hours not knowing how to use psyche because i thought it was bugged.
There is this one bug I have gotten a few times now where RIGHT before landing the last hit of an attack combo mel just cancels out mid animation and doesnt get the last hit.

It looks slower and sluggish compared to the original. In the og, I’m dashing at and away at enemies both attacking and adjusting my position, here he’s just dropping aoe spells and not dashing as much.
Doesn’t seem as fun. If it wasn’t called Hades, I doubt you would have done a video on it. I would have liked a more comparative review also. I think it’s a 7/10 but people are going to inflate it up to 9.

Hades 2 might go up in price when its fully out, already has more environments/enemies than hades 1 so best to buy now
