I love these boots, I once had a pair that I wore every day at work and outside of work too. They got so comfortable I did a 2-day 50 mile hike in them and had no issues whatsoever. I keep a pair of steel-toe capped blundstones for days when I might be dropping heavy things on my feet, but these are my go-to boots. Great review, cheers.

I actually prefer them because they are a bit round. It's really a more casual workboot that looks stylish. Most chelsa boots are very narrow and more based on a dress shoes and that can work if thats what you are after, but a dress boot would look really weird in the woods or whatever.

Same here, got the 585. First time I saw it, its like a rainboot (hehe). I have not shown it yet to my son (18) and two daughters (20s) and I would expect they will have the same impression😁. However, I do appreciate the craftsmanship and could take the beating of everyday wear. And yes, there is a break in period of getting customized as I wear them. 44 EUR is my size and I need to wear thin socks where the added insole I use. Initially the top portion of my foot specially my right side, hurt in few days I wore these. The reason I finally decided to buy thin material sock. Now, I think I am enjoying them. Thank you for the review.

I have owned 3 pairs of these over the years, they are fantastic except for 2 things, sizing is so off, and I had to do returns. The next big issue is that the soles eventually crack and cannot be repaired.

Canadian (Toronto) here. I think you are asking for trouble. For Toronto is OKish. I added the sheepskin footbed to my standard Blundstone which makes it equivalent to the winter version. It’s warm on your footbed but the upper are just leather lined and not insulated. So pretty much you are as warm as your socks. I would invest in a proper winter boots (with thinsulate) if I were you.

@@eatfugu I am Canadian so I just buy Kamik. Their price is very affordable. Plus they have models with “moderate insulation” so your feet wont be too hot once you get indoor or remain active outdoor. If you want “heavy duty” winter boots, I recommend Baffin.
