John Mayer makes it look so easy because he is incredibly gifted and I love watching him solo whether with his band or with Dead and Company .He always brings incredible tone, intensity and melodic lines that are truly unique to him. His comprehension of the guitar and music is such a pleasure to listen to ...He’s this Generations Eric Clapton...he writes , sings and plays..all at such a high level, such a Talented natural musician.🌏⚡️💫🎸🎸🎸
I was looking back at my notes for this show, I just wrote "that one chord in Gravity" and had no idea what it meant. Thank you for posting this so that I could figure out that I meant the one at 0:58.
He’s playing with a good amount of gain. Reminds me of Clapton on the Journeyman tour with his Soldano amps back in the day. Very thick and liquidy sound.

That's really not a bad job when you consider that he was dressed like a guy who paints houses for a living during the day but moonlights as a guitar hero at night. LOL! Is he using the Silver Sky a lot on his solo shows? I know PRS supposedly told him they didn't care if he still used the Fender stuff.
Want to say each set was between 1.5 and 2 hours, 2 sets total, with a ~30 minute break in between sets. The tickets stated that the show starts at 7:30PM, but it was closer to 7:50ish. This was for the 7/20 Providence show

Started at approx 7:50 and ended near 11 with 30 min intermission.
DC was booked for 7:30, started at 7:50. First set went until 9:00ish, intermission until 9:40, finished around 10:50
I thought this was A Perfect Circle cover. Imagine my disappointment.
