- In todays video i will be installing the TX Race restyle kit for my 2002 kx 125. I will say this took about 3.5 hours to install and it’s quite the task to perform. I think it looks pretty good, the only thing I’m disappointed about is the fit on the side shrouds, the fender doesn’t line up with the wheel and all the hardware that needed to be put on the bike to make this work. Otherwise I think the bike turned out great and I’m exciting to get it out on the track.

Nice vid! My kx100 had the same bolt Situation with the tank. That helps me a lot.
My 2001 kx 250 has the same gas tank issue, a solution that I found is to put some Jb weld in the tank and then put the brass fitting back in
2020 kx 450 graphics will fit it.
It’s nice to see this video after I just did my kx 125 but, instead, I replaced my with the same type of plastics but in black and came out looking like new, and the graphics I ordered with KALAIR GFX

your triple clamps arent aligned thats the issue with the front fender not aligning with the wheel it your turn your bars hard they might move but if they dont loosen the bolts on the top triple clamp so you can line it up and tighten it again
Was thinking about a restyle kit. Man it looks like junk brackets. I didn't realize all that bracket fubar went into it. I wont be doing it now. Thanks for sharing
Yea it’s a cool idea but, like I said In the video after one crash it’s gonna look even worse. I ended up selling the thing

I blew up the bottom end on the 2nd ride so I got rid of it

It’s still somewhere around council bluffs area in pieces, I don’t think it ever got rebuilt, I might know who has it

It came with graphics but I never put them on, I was really disappointed with the restyle kit and after the first ride the motor blew up and I sold it.
where did you buy the fixing pastes to be able to adapt

@@FullThrottleEdits your the man by chance you have any pointers on doing a water pump seal ? My oil and coolant are mixing
Yea so your water pump is connected to the cooling hose on the front right of the motor, I would order a whole kit and re do it all. Anything with the pump is usually pretty easy. There should be a seal right behind the impeller.
@@FullThrottleEdits found out it’s the crank man dude told me it was a water pump I got it to start knocks insane can’t find a crank anywhere for a 2001 🥹
@ROADJOKERS you can buy a rod and rod bearing kit and send your crank to a mx shop for them to rebuild it
