Answering Hearties' questions and reflecting on her process as an actor, producer, and a Heartie, WCTH's own Erin Krakow talks about season 9 and teases the season finale.
When she says it was cold yes....yes it was. All of us extras had literal cold feet. As in the ground was freezing. That was when I decided I needed heated socks
Thoroughly enjoyed the interview.... Erin is a sweetheart! Such clever questions and you all are beautiful, intelligent people running the show. Thanks for all the hard work that you do to entertain us #Hearties
Man I sure do wish you had been speaking at the Juilliard graduation!!! I was there because my son was a graduate. It would have been a nice breath of fresh air!
I just love how lovely Erin is, I'm from Brazil and I remember when I saw WCTH for the firts time in Brazil, I feel in love at that moment and made my onw WCTH marathon in portuguese and then in english. Thank you girls for bringing us hearties moments like that, it's not easy for us to have these kind of moments in my country. Such a fun interview, so many great moments to remember until we have season 10 (I prayer for it). I just want to let you know how beautiful this moment was. Sending love for all of you and getting ready for the season finale!
If you ever get a chance to ask any actors this, my question is when in a movie when it involves a craft that you never did, like cooking, or crafting, or painting, photography, riding a horse, etc, do you find it hard learning the new craft and do you continue that craft in real life?
In Kevin McGarry’s chat we did touch on this. He said when asked if he could do the rifle trick, he said yes. Even though he wasn’t sure he could. Actors tend to say yes & figure it out. But feel free to submit this question should we have another Heart to Heart where it fits.
What are some memory techniques your guests can give us? Consider having Inuits and their struggles as well as a World War I veteran on future shows. How about a Shakespeare festival with Rosemary, others, the children and some music? All's Well that Ends Well, A Midsummer Night's Dream (donkey scene)...
In S7/2 when Elizabeth and Nathan were talking outside and Lucas joined them and the school boys had taken a ball from another and she said let me go break this up and she said great, Lucas said great and Nathan said great.
They said again S9/1, when Elizabeth was waiting for Lucas to finish his business with Mr Smith and Nathan joined Elizabeth at her table and Lucas came over to tell her they couldn't have dinner because he couldn't leave Henry alone with Smith. They all said great again.
I love how the whole team thinks about our feelings and insights.
The Best interview yet Thank You Erin & Ladies
