Meditation and control | J. Krishnamurti
Extract from the fourth talk in Calcutta, 1982.
    ---
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

Yeah, this silence is all there is. Humanity can evolve into it. Hopefully before it destroys itself.

I'm having trouble understanding why not to use the word "HOW" ,because if the process leads to the knowledge of one's self then it seems to me to be very acceptable.

Krishnamurti did say that he doesn't like to help, he wants one to reach it well not reach it but yeah when you understand you'll understand. Anything YOU sorta DO does nothing to help, you could have realized this at any point literally but alas here we are. Don't even take what I'm tryna say here literally cause words do nothing to describe whatever it may or may not be

    Yes. This.
The proper study of mankind is man - Alexander Pope
JK takes it a level farther, and I 100% agree, the proper study of mankind is yourself
because the brain (mind) is common, it shares fear, shame, etc.
Brene Brown says shame has only 2 messages, I’m not good enough, who do you think you are (I may have missed quoted this, perhaps there are 3)
We realize that our thoughts are the same as those of others. And we need to question them
That’s what meditation is. Self inquiry
