As an Alberta resident, holding a Trophy Antelope Tag in hand is a special occurrence, and sometimes we'd rather be lucky than good. - Sport
Wow what a horrible shot on that antelope .
Love the transparency in your content. Hunts rarely work out perfectly and you guys demonstrate how to overcome challenges on the fly. Congrats on the hunts and good luck in 2024.
Stuff happens, that’s hunting. Great goat and a sweet buck!!
Yep, unfortunately things don't always go to plan. But we're fortunate that things worked out in the end.
All part of the hunt. Awesome goat and mule deer! That was an awesome redeeming shot, and I’m happy everything ended up working out. Congrats!
Thanks! Obviously not how we envision things happening in the field, but it's part of the hunt. We're grateful that everything worked out in the end.
What was the measurement of the antelope on the length from base to tip?
The deer actually turns before the arrow gets there. And the antelope shot. Who wouldn’t want their animal gutted before you walk up on it.
Real life. Not fake. Great video.
Not for for the people who never make mistakes. Love to be those people.
Beautiful animals. Congrats to you both! Can’t wait for the deer videos!

That's exciting! Thanks so much!
You guys make a lot of bad shots. This isn’t the only time I seen high risk shots.
They all can’t be perfect like you and the way you live your life so squeaky clean.
Damn it must be nice.
I don't necessarily agree that they were high risk shots. The antelope was 266 yards (likely on the shorter range of things when it comes to the average antelope shot in the open prairies), and the Mule Deer was 40 yards. Both extremely common, ethical shots to take on broadside/quartering away animals. Things went wrong on both shots, but in both instances we were able to make a tougher, higher pressure followup shot to ensure a quick efficient kill on both animals. Trust me when I say that we can shoot. The camera just brings to light the tiniest mistake that the average hunter doesn't see on their own hunts with their own eyes. I've witnessed this phenomenon myself multiple times with people who have never made a bad shot or missed an animal in their life, but yet I film them take a few shots and what their eyes tell them, is different than what the camera tells. We do our best to be ethical, efficient killers, and we continually strive to be better. But the harsh reality is that if you spend enough time in the field doing what we do, things will go bad every once in a while. It's unfortunate, but it's real life.
Honestly these two hunts should have never been posted. A gut shot and a hind quarter shot.......... pretty horrible way for those animals to go out☹
We can all only imagine what it is like to live in your world. Making no mistakes. I’m sure that the lord is shining down on you.
You probably squeak when you walk.
Something about stones and glass. 🤔
While I agree that both shots weren't great, (We never tried to say they were), we managed to keep our composure and make tougher, higher pressure follow up shots to ensure a quick, clean, efficient kill on both animals. Those first shots aren't what killed them. The follow up shots are what put them out quickly. We didn't leave them to suffer.

Terrible shots
Show us how it is done hero.
We don't try to hide it and claim that we made perfect shots. It's real life. Things happen in the field. We're human like everyone else. Are we proud of it? Of course not. And we continually strive to be better. Both shots were very practical, ethical shots. They weren't out of our comfortable ranges, and we're proficient with our equipment. But spend enough time in the field and things go wrong. It happens to everyone. If it hasn't, then you haven't hunted long enough, or you're lying. Plain and simple.
