I guess the boxes was just so they could have their ANA Logo on it using alredy existing polybags.
If I may say, that yellow truck kind of reminds me of a different version of The Generation 1 Transformer Huffer. And seeing that there's a robot (with it?) I kind of wonder if somebody was trying to insinuate something with that set...."more than meets the eye!"

Those boxes look a lot like those used for airplane models - and this is probably for optimal storage.
The rarest thing on that tiny yellow truck (which I also tried to rebrick after your last video) is the hood: It's a curved slope only used in about a dozen sets within a 5 year timespan (2002-2006). A piece mostly associated with early "Racers" sets.
