Generation X were the latch key generation. TV raised us and it actually meant something. After school specials, special episodes, it was TV that made you think. Sesame Street. It was TV that warmed you. Zoom, The Electric Company. It was TV that warned you. Stop, Drop, and Roll, Stranger Danger. It was TV had informed you. School House Rock,Free to be You and Me. It was TV that entertained you. You Can’t Do That On Television, The Cosby Show, The Love Boat. Now I barely watch TV today. When I do, it’s oldies. Reality TV and the OJ trial and constant anyalysus ruined TV from the 90’s on. There’s still some good on TV, but it’s not the same. Thanks guys. I miss your conversations together.
