A draw was a fair result. With the defending on offer neither team deserved to win this game. Watford manager had a point that it wasn't a pen but clutching at straws with the "punch in the face" for Covs third. Would have loved city to win though cause the rolling around from Watford players when they got touched was an embarrassment. Particularly from porteous in the first half when we went flying into the air and holding his face when he got touched on his calf
Our midfield was non existent, and Bobby Thomas had a right stinker. The defence was standing off constantly which led to two of Watfords goals. The third goal was just awful. Sheaf was also poor, by his standards - he really should be taking the game by the scruff and dictating, not giving it away. Still believe we’re a creative player short, and Ayari may not be the answer. Feels like this will be a season of adjustment, rather than a promotion push. 🤷♂️
Great points. I think we will come good. Robins knows its a long old slog and I think we are just making sure we dont get beat right now. Once our engine starts purring we will be a good team.
terrible ? Mate Chelsea is terrible not cov we played amazing today but we were a bit sloppy at first as you can see in the vid but second half was brilliant
Both teams played open, counter attacking football. Both teams often left themselves stretched at the back. Defensively poor display by both sides imo. But it produced a great entertaining game. Good luck for the rest of the season Watford! From a Cov fan.
