I have just realised, at the interview at 5:10 that is my nan getting the interview
So much football trauma for an honest club like Coventry City and their great fans, good luck to both teams at Wembley on Saturday. Luton fan.
Thanks for the nice message, Good luck for Saturday too with both sides being on a remarkable journey, may the best team win. PUSB!
No matter what happens on Saturday it'll be a victory for football, it proves you don't need to spend millions to get into the top flight, good luck, I'm glad one of us will be up there considering what we've both been through
Thank you. All the best of luck to Luton as well, I’ll be absolutely gutted if we don’t go up but I know I’ll be excited for Luton fans. Getting to this stage one game away from the prem is special for both clubs and just doesn’t seem real
Thankyou Coventry city fc premier league football where they belong top flight Sky High Blues ⚽️🐘
Honest football club? They cheated to relegate Sunderland many moons ago... Forgot on by football 92'ers
"We'll fight 'till the game is won" Let's do this lads, PUSB
Im a Derby fan but as a classic car enthusiast I have a soft spot for Coventry as a city and as a club, hope they get back to the big time they deserve it.
No club has been through what we have, saturday we return to our home🙏🙌
So Luton haven't suffered like you have
@@leedonlan5408 how many times they been made homeless?
My club Bradford city, were relegated from the prem the same year as yours, we have suffered the same (maybe even more ) as you lot, good luck in the final, gives us some hope for the future
“Coventry City FC will never stop fighting” that ending brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for telling the story of our club in such a fantastic video! Subscribed
Thank you 🙏
From a Cov fan all my life, going with my old man as ST holders since my first game in 97, I want to say thank you for this video. Got me emotional 😂.
It’s the nervousness and excitement for what tomorrow holds for us.
Thank you for sharing
That last Coventry FC never stop fighting hit hard
Appreciate the kind words!
What a vid 🔥 It puts it all into perspective, without Mark Robbins we would not be in this position. He's our King, who has dragged us from the depths of hell to 90 mins (Maybe more) away from the Premier league. No matter the outcome Saturday, us fans love our club and will continue to do so no matter what PUSB
Cov fan for over 50 years so many great games to remember. Not counting the cup final we had a great league game with Spurs earlier in the season that we won 4-3 with a last minute Cyrille Regis goal. I think knowing we had beaten them before gave us the confidence at Wembley even after going behind so early. Thanks for the great overview, there were enough twists and turns to make a 2 hour video but it would probably be blocked by complaints from previous chairmen, Sisu and especially the EFL,
My first City game was in 1969 against West Brom at Highfield Rd. My son and grandson, living in Essex, are mad Sky Blue supporters and will be at Wembley with me tomorrow. Thank you Mark Robins.
Forget Sunderland til we die, or Wrexham, this is the documentary that needs making
Looking forward to this one.wishing the sky blues all the best. The fans and club deserve it.Faithful and durable.Millwall.
I’m a sky blues fan and this club has been through so much and hopefully we can succeed 2nd time round this season
I’m convinced that if it weren’t for the World Cup, we could have been in with a shout of automatic 😂
Excellent video. Really good summary of the last few years of Coventry’s history. Hoping we can do it at Wembley this Saturday!!!
Thank you I appreciate the kind words! If you wanted to help out the channel a share to social media or any friends would mean a lot, no pressure though of course
What a brilliant video! Thankyou so much. I've supported City since 1964. Whether we do it or not, I will be proud of my club, a club which SISU almost killed.
SISU saved the club. Richardson and Robinson nearly destroyed it
Coventry fan here, been following the club since 2020,great video
Great video. Puts it all in perspective!
Appreciate your support, obviously no pressure but if you knew anybody else who'd also enjoy it would mean a lot if you could share the vid 🙌
@@thewrldsgame have done and they thought it was brill!
@@bluesky85 You legend 🤝
Worth mentioning that the all important point over Blackburn to secure the play-off spot was picked up with a 95th minute equaliser against Blackburn, scored by the goalkeeper! Just made last season even more ridiculous! Late to it, but a great video 👏
❤PUSB Robbins has galvanised this club and city come on Cov
In fact due to Heysel Coventry were denied European Football in the European Cup Winners Cup which Coventry would have qualified for through winning the FA Cup
Mate, I thought this video would have at least 100k views, and your channel would have like 50k subscribers ! Keep up the great content, you will get there
Maybe not 100k in 6 hours lol but at least 10k
Appreciate the kind words and maybe I'll do a West Ham video soon ahead of the final 👀
@@thewrldsgame I would absolitely love that ! The nerves are starting to kick in now to be honest... only 10 days time. I wish I could be in Prague for the final
@@t.c.4321 It's a real 50/50 for who's gonna win
Thank you so much for the video and I am a Cov fan and everything we’ve been tho is shocking
Brilliant video. Thanks
Great vid 🔥
This brought a tear to my eye! Thank you. You have a new subscriber. PUSB
Thank you 🙏
Fantastic video!!! Well done!!
Cheers 🙌
Im scottish and the first game of football l ever went to was cov v birmingham 😊 highfield road !!been to roker park and was at hillsborough for the semi final v. Leeds , seen luton ,nottinghham , Qpr , liverpool an a few other games 😊
As a Coventry fan you forgot to mention that are rivalry with Sunderland how we held up the game for 15 minutes and played it out since the Sunderland score came up on the board and passed it between each team to stay up and play another season in the
Premier league
Play up sky blue3
This is probably one of the most intriguing play off finals in a years, there's a beautiful story on both sides, they both deserve a place in the big time and it's sad to see either team miss out on the opportunity
Great video. Pusb
Thank you, appreciate the support
After that final happy as we fought our best but overall a team that just a few weeks ago drew to Liverpool beat us in the final I’m so proud of our boys
An amazing rags-to-riches story of this amazing football club!! COME ON YOU SKY BLUES!! I'm sure we'll beat Luton Town at Wembley in the Play-Offs too. To regain our Premier League status after 22 years.
Great video! PUSB💙💙
Honestly... I haven't cried since I was a child. However I don't think I'd be able to hold it in on Saturday 🤣. #PUSB.
I love these vids
Many more to come 👀
C'mon Sky Blues!! We've been underdogs or the lower seeded team in every final/playoff match thus far, but still found a way to win. Let's find that magic once again!!
It has been one of the roughest rides in football as a coventry fan but if anything comes from this it is for other clubs to be very wary of owners and their motives and if they are not fit and proper to speak out and protest. The way the EFL turned a blind eye to the horrendous way the club was treated is shameful!
I hope no other club meets with SISU and their disgusting business practices.
City born and bred.
Was there the first day they opened the new stadium to the fans and since then things went so bad..
Less than an hour to go til they kick off at Wembley.. Honestly win or lose we have to be proud about the turnaround. And if we don't win, Luton have their own fairytale story so football wins at the end of the day.
#PUSB
Got a couple facts wrong like your our highest 1st division finish was 6th which got us into Europe in the 70s and beating Bayern Munich . And we started from the 4th division not the 2nd when we joined the football league
my team forever 🩵
From a walsall fan sad to see were you are now the worst thing you did was to leave Highfield road there was nothing wrong with that ground
Anyone who's here early waiting for this video to be published, check out my recent video on Luton's incredible season here - czcams.com/video/WMsI9-pU4Mc/video.html
Since coventry got relegated from the premiership they actually have not had one decent season untill Robins took over
PUSB !!
Cov fan living in Bangkok, so glad SISU the cancer the previous pathetic owners have gone . Somehow the club propered dispute Sisu, the pride if the club has been restored.
On to Sunderland next..
Expect that vid early next week - Monday or Tuesday so keep notifications on 👀
@@thewrldsgame righto🤫
You couldn't have scripted our last 15 years and presented it as a draft for a disaster movie/novel. It would have been deemed too ludicrously far fetched.
Horrible little club, only bothered turning up at the end of the season
Well we didn't get promoted but looks like we are going to have another go at it this season the way we are playing and the squad we have built. The crazy thing for me is how Mark Robins has achieved what he has with the club and how he isn't given the plaudits he deserves for it. Probably the most consistent english manager in recent years and shows what faith and stability can achieve within a club despite the turmoil happening to it.
