For some reason onlt the first one works, i made a totally normal good haha "ai" that picks a random square for the non player turn but even brfore that i couldnt get anything other than the first one. Help please

@@McVincient the ai is just random, but you can only place stuff in slot 1 for some reason. That's my issue

@@McVincient hey man, i did a functional rematch button, here's how:
create the button, then go to *Boxes sprite* , find the script that defines *check winner* .Under *set [winner] to (win)* , broadcast *Rematch* . Also broadcast Rematch under every script that runs *set [winner] to (draw)*
then go to *Rematch Button sprite* and do this script:
when i recieve [Rematch]
show
forever
if then
broadcast [Rematch = Yes]
hide
go to *Boxes sprite* and do the first script:
when i received [Rematch = Yes]
broadcast [delete clone]
delete this clone
the second script was:
when i received [Rematch = Yes]
show
random pick (this is My Block, not built-in code)
set [winner] to (n/a)
set [cloneNumber] to 1
repeat (9)
change [cloneNumber] by (1)
create clone of myself
hide
in this third script, make sure that you have:
when i recieved [delete clone]
delete all of [boxes]
repeat (9)
add (blank) to [boxes]
i think this script was actually included in the tutorial.
now under of the third script, do:
repeat until
delete (10) of [boxes]
now try it out!
i think this should work since I run these and works normally

It didnt work for me as my boxes arent moving into the nine squares and they are just overlapping each other and i checked my code and its all correct

The first time I click a X or O isnt placed and the box says taken I dont understand whats going on? The rest of them are fine. Also how do I lock the squares in place so they dont move?

I had a similar problem, make sure that whenever you create your variables you make sure to set it to only that sprite and not to all sprites. That was originally my mistake that ended up being fixed once I redid my variables. If not, I apologize and I hope you can find the issue towards your code.
