Hola im susana from spain just sang an exercise about vocal range!!!!can say something i like tour clases. What see im barítono. I mean !! Im just beggining. I will nevera reach to highs . You know whitney or María carey, its ok!!! I know its líke im better with male voices??Well thankyou for your videos❤❤
Have been using these for years and not paying. Thanks for terrific, clear helpful exercises.
Thanks Steven. Much appreciated (and on my birthday too 😁)
My vocal range is A2- A5!
Same here
Great range test. I got F#2 up to A4/Bb4 comfortably. With a little bit of push I reached C5/C#5 in full voice. In falsetto I reached C6. I have recently started practicing to expand my upper range in chest voice. Always had problems getting through the second passage at A4. Your videos are a great training companion. My goal is to feel comfortable at the highest notes (around C5), and know that it will be countless of hours of training. In the end it will be worth it.
I started head voice at C4, started my falsetto at B4, ended at E5, went down to C2 in my chest voice then down to G1 using sub-harmonics, I have gone down to a D1 using sub-harmonics with my own testing
Comfortably G1-A4 without a warmup. G1-C2 lower chest, D2-B2 upper chest C3-B3 mix, C4-A4 head voice. I'd have to switch to subharmonics below G1.. which is difficult without a warmup and constant practice.
C#5 i can hit but E#5 is when I struggle with my high mix. My mix starts at F4. I use my piano and I use a app called Tuner T1 it’s very good be on pitch and know your vocal range. I’ve been taking singing lessons for about a year and 3 months. The highest I was able to hit was A#4 with a struggle until I learned my mix voice and that took me 7 months to figure it out. My range has improved in a year and 3 months. Now I’m focusing on tone and pitch doing dynamics. Love the video God Bless
I use T1 too! Also bro I don’t know how to do high mix 😭 my full chest is A2-Bb4 then falsetto and head up to F5 but I dunno how to do mix
so far my highest comfortable note was the F#4. with falsetto being able to hit an F5. although I have a very small and weird falsetto jump where G4 and G#4 just don't exist and I go straight to A4. now my lowest note at the time of doing this was an F2. (I know kinda sad but I'm just starting out) But I know on good days I can hit an Eb2. And sub-harmonics just don't exist. now in falsetto since I'm still training my voice. C5, C#5, and D5 don't exist either. I go straight from B4 -> Eb5. But I'm going to get vocal lessons soon so hopefully I can expand and improve on my range.
Range is less important than the sound. Though of course, if you can more comfortably hit higher notes, that can often make you sing better more normal ones. :)
There is just so much focus on the range when it honestly doesn't really matter that much imo. Better to find a song you really like but is still kind of a challenge.
Just my two cents of course. Everyone's singing journey is different.
Can you make a falsetto work out please? Thanks 😁
C6 to - G1, I think the test was basically at my limit in both directions though I would have loved to try one more in both directions. Though admittedly, that G1 was likely more of a growl than a tone...
High note with falsetto of course. A very thin one. But still definitely a note! :P
B5!!! Im so close to a C6 mannn. I think im a super mega tenor lol
A#1 to D4. Though some times my voice seems to "dry up" and I lose the low end quite significantly.
omg A#1!!! that's so rare, never heard b4
Can I send you a video for a feedback from you Pls.ur work has really been God's instrument in my life
Mine's B2-E5
Falsetto starting at A4.
I tested myself in the past and yielded at quite close at C3-E5.
Definitely a tenor.
My highest note was G5, in arpeggio. Can also hit equivalent of mezzo-soprano (falsetto, etc.).
My vocal range is Bb1-G5
Lows: Bb1-D3
Belts: C4- A4
Head voice: E4-G5
Thanks!
G2 to A5. Men that can sing all the way up are really gifted. Nothing is better than shattering the windows with a good timbre.
I actually have no idea how you can get that high, I’m a tenor and I mix around C5
@@Bennzie427 honestly it's partly how much u sing and genetics i guess, not all men can hit high notes...maybe
There’s genetic problem there lol. For me I’m D#2 to A#5. But I saw dudes who could go all the way to C1. Definitely genetics
For High rage G#5 chest- C6 in falsetto
For low rage i got F2
My vocal range is C2-E4.
I, for one, am a bass.
Mama played fiddle 🎶
I have always thought I can sing high but then I was put into bass in my choir, now I just realized I could hit C2/B1 but also B5 in falsetto. I guess they needed more bass guys then.
round A#5 my voice needs to switch to falsetto/head voice or at least there's a passagio there. And I need to force everything below A#1 or at least heavely support there. :D
I can barely hit A5 and that’s where u struggle?
@@itsonlykairell7386 -B4 for death metal vocals on pitches/tones or so, till c6+ if I whistletone/whistlenotes. I've sung/screamed/yelled for ages. Breath support is a major thing. Also I notice Ian talk about the secondo passagio. It feels to me as if I have three or four of these passagio's
I hit A5 before falsetto and A1 before bottoming out. Very close together!
Eb2 - Ab4, definitely a bass. But trying to work on improving my middle/head voice, let’s see how it goes. 02/06/2024
Comfortably e2 to e4.. then it’s head voice up until a b5.. if I’m playing around a whistle note might come out( insert glass breaking)
My lowest note wasn’t on this scale but I’ve tested my vocal range before and it was E1 - C5. But it’s up to C4 in chest voice. D4 on a good day or if I try to belt. But anything higher than C4 and up to C5 is falsetto. I can go a few notes higher but it doesn’t sound good so I just say C5 is my highest note.
E1 was your chest?
@@samuelvillalva1090 Subharmonic register.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Subharmonic register is not consider for this vocal range test bro its the same as falsetto
@@hannsstevenvillahermosa9217 Alright. Thanks for the feedback.
Highly doubt everyone that said they can do all of them, can with their chest and mix. Normal chest for me I’m E2 even though it’s not powerfully supported and highest before switching to falsetto right now is c# 5. Now I can get all of them in falsetto and likewise I can vocal fry with subharmonics get to almost all the lowest notes, but really A# 1 is as clear as I could make it pitch wise.
B5 with mix
Maybe C5# in full voice
Does mix count as falsetto or...
Should falsetto be able to go higher than mix?
Low end gets awkward at about F2 ish atm
But when I stay relaxed and with a bit of fry it sounds like I can keep going all the way down...just with less power down to G1 maybe lower
Does that count for anything or... am I just stretching and building my lower range to go further than my genetic default?
Am I doing something wrong
First one was Bb3 - B4
Second was C3 - D#2
I could follow to G5, for high end. G#5 is where I cease making sound entirely.
I could follow to G1 for low end, I'm pretty sure I can go lower though.
F#2 - D5
My mixed voice/ chest voice practically reaches the same as falsetto and my falsetto often seems capped and unable to make sound after a D5.
I feel like i'm doing this whole thing wrong I need to hear someone do it all I need to watch a video where they do the vocal range test completely and see where they start and stop because I feel like I stop at some high notes but then I can do even higher notes effortlessly that makes zero sense.
B1 to A4, let's see how it improves from now!
F#4 highest Chest, C6 highest falsetto. Lowes comfortable is D2.
(Eb2-F#4-chest) E4-D5 mix and Highest falsetto B5. Maybe a lyric baritone?
You are a baritone for me !
I know i can go higher but theres something wrong with my vocal chords so i can only sing in my chest and like 75% of my mix 😭😭😭
OH wow.. I never knew I would sing deep... My vocal range starts from D2 - F6... I could sing A6, but I need to work on that. I go to musical school and there is a vocal coach teaching me, I want to learn to sing really well
F6 wtf?
D2-A#4 (chest voice), A#5 (falsetto)
F4 in chest E5 in head/falsetto (or maybe slightly higher because I couldn't sing at full volume)
G2 ish for the lowest? I find it hard to estimate/find
g1 (coulda gone lower by 1 or 2 steps probably) to a4... probably more if I had actually warmed up or anything. Dang.
G2 - E5 - C6 (And progressing!)
voice type? comfortable C#2 lowest pushed B1, highest comfortable D4 pushed G#4
Bass or bass-baritone
G2-F5 (idk if that's good but I'm proud considering I only did chest/mixed)
Can you please give an example for people who are not musicians, how can you calculate how many octaves one covers, singing from a said note in low notes exercise up to the same note in higher notes exercise - e.g. G5, G6.... Thanks
From C3 to C4 is a octave. C, d, e, f, g, a, b and c in the next octave the cycle is repeated until your highest note is reached
B0 to F5 is my full vocal range, given that i have been practricing in school for 2 years now properly with my teachers training me
Full chest voice: G1-E5
Also including mixed voice, head voice and falsetto: G1-E6
Chest voice A#1-D5.falsetto E4-F#5
Let’s goooo E2-F6 :]
Highest note before cracking into falsetto, G4. Lowest projectable note, B1.
B1 to F4. Of course, I'm an amateur and have no idea what this really means! Fun exercise though.
G2 - Ab5 (sometimes I can go higher if I can)
in the morning I got A1-G5,
during daytime B1-G5
I want to start practicing Subharmonics and growl to play with the whole potentiL
C#2-E4-A5
My low notes aren’t as strong though so on any given day it’s probably E2-E4-A5
G1 - C2 - B4/C5 - C6 (to be fair the C6 was in whistle my head voice ended around G5/G#5) now on to the female range test video
C#1 to A#4. I can stretch to an F#5 and also a B0 (roughly). What would this classify me as? I can sometimes hit an A#0 and even rarer an A0, but it is just for a split second.
A true bass, Italians might say a bass profundo (if I spelt it correctly) though you probably already know that considering the length of time between when you commented then, to now.
Lowest note was a g1 on a hm and highest was a c6 on a hm as well
I’m now 15 yo and my range is Eb2-G#4-B5👀i can sing high in falsetto but cant belt high😮💨I wanna know if my voice will get even lower growing up🤨I also wanna get my whistle back😮💨
Hii! #AussieVocalCoach I'm a Indian classical singer......my range is comfortable B1-A#4🙂....so I got a tenor range?....pls tell me...🥺💜
D2-A4-F5 (I'm a Baritone)
Awesome!
I’m a female, but I thought it would be fun. I can do C6-C#2
Lower A2, Higher F5, Falseto A5
C#2-F#5, I’ll take it!
B-1 I had to harmonize with B1 then I harmonized with B0 then I hit a B-1 two actives lower then B1 ,B-1 is my low and B5 is my high 6 octaves is my rang
Subharmonics, vocal fry, chest fry, and growling do not count. Only chest voice counts for the lows.
In chest voice I can go e2 and b4 comfortable c1 and d5 with straining and with growl Sulaymaniyah I can hit a d1 lowest ever a c1
Didnt think I'd find another guy with growl in here I'm close but I can hit c#2 and can only get to a4 before straining and growl I'm sitting about the same except a b0 I was very proud of :)
My chest voice up to A4 then switch to falsetto at A#4
My vocal range is A2 to C6 yay!, the exercises are so much better then my school's band instructor lol
progress:
september 2022: g2-c5
september 2023: g1-d#5 (i one hit e5)
My lowest chest voice note is B2 and Highest G#4 also chet voice . Witch type can i be ?
Thank you so much for that! I made it to A#5 than I had to switch to mixed voice. This helped me so much!
A#5?!?! Please tell me your secret, my mixed starts around C5-C#5, I need your secrets
I sang chest down to g1 and falsetto from c5-c6
E5-G1 and all I do is sing in the car and make my voice weird while playing online with friends lol
F#2 - B5
AFTER A4 I START singing falsetto
My aim is to build up to F#6 !!
I don't know where my vocal range, can we you headvoice or no at higher notes?
My low notes- A2-C3
My chest notes- C3-B4
I don't know my mixed voice
My headvoice - C4-B5
Overall - A2-B5
My vocal range is G1-C6 ❤️
D#2 - B5 (Rasp)
Thank You Sir For This Video. Finally I came to know what my range is. I can sing upto G5 with my chest voice and surprisingly I can sing upto G1 in the low notes. Thank you sir❤
It is impossible for guys to reach G5 with chest voice. it's only possible with very high mixed voice (heady mix) or falsetto.
@@Joshua-le8zk he's lying😂
@@Joshua-le8zk No it's not
@@Joshua-le8zk not impossible, he could be halfway through puberty, or maybe he’s just talented but I’d consider belting chest voice so I can reach E6 with that(I can’t do falsetto at all though)
G5 ga k dikha de chest voice se tere ko nagad 200 rupay 🤣
Lowest is D2 for me. But when I use my vibration bass, I can go lower than G1, but sounds different
Maybe it's not G1.. Bcz u cant hit c2
I'ma *coloratura soprano*
my my range is *D3/Eb3-C6-G6*
Bb1 - F4. Solidly a bass.
A#1 TO F4 wish i had a better high chest range. Bass forever.
I can do from C2/B1 to falsetto B5
G1 to idk bc i only did low notes bc im NOT alone rn
up to c5 with normal voice, f#5 wit falsetto
down to f2
Is anyone else able to hit basically every note in here by using this as practice and warm-up material?
not me... I can maybe hit a A4 in falsetto, and I can't sing any notes in the "1" range
highest head voice F#5 natural high a4; lowest G#1
Can i do the note c5 in my falsetto or it must be in my chest voice?????? Cuzz I can make b5 to c6 in my falsetto
D#2-A#4-B5
Tried as a girl and maybe my range is b2-d5 on a bad day? my voice sounds quite deep below b3
Highest Belt: C#5
Lowest note: G#2
Highest Head/mix: C6
is this okay?
My lowest note is a F2 am relaxed until E5 but my highest note is a C6
Is g#5 falsetto or whistle note cause I did reach with with falsetto like sound..
My range is F2-C6 quite a weird rang for a male but everyone is different 😊
I could only dream of hitting anything with a 5 in it lol, C6 is impressive
Thanks, but that only if my head voice is warmed up or fully open in ready. Btw I’m 17 years old, which is more impressive!
I cant figure out my lower voice but my highest range is A#4 but in falsetto i can reach the final scale it and i can whistle too is that normal for a guy
G5-A#1 idk if that tenor or alto but I’m that range
Mine is C#2-F5
Falsetto starts at A4
I used the female range for the top so C2 - G6
My full range is A1 - A5. Falsetto from G4
Highest Comfortable chest note was a G4 Lowest Comfortable Chest voice was an E2
Same
My Vocal Range is C6-IDK ( literally I hit the lowest note and I could keep going )
Here's the thing - even if you hit the higher note, maybe sounds less quality?
