Huh? Are you a slow adult or child, please let me know so I know how best to address your comment. P.S. there are 2400 homesites in my neighborhood - average home price of $650,000. If you're capable, do the math🤣🤣🤣 there are about 490,000 other homes in the area too, enough work for everyone...... be smart
@@AllAboutPressureWashing And how many of the 2400 will get a house wash this year? Probably 1-2% this year and maybe 10% within next 1-3 years. Just because there are 490,000 houses in your area doesn’t mean they are all getting washed this year. It’s very likely that less than 10% of anyone’s territory is being washed this year. That’s 4,900 houses up for grabs to a growing number of competitors shrinking your market share each year. At 4 houses a day that’s 1000 houses a year for one company. Slim pickings.
It’s fairly simple. 490,000 houses in your service area according to you. 10% of those are customers shared amongst your competitors. Not all of those 49,000 (10%) will get their house washed THIS year. Meaning you will be fighting for less than the 10% of customers which could be 4,900 - 49,000 customers somewhere in that range. Any one truck company can do roughly 3-4 houses a day which is about 1,000 houses a year. Meaning your service area can only support roughly 5-50 pressure washing businesses. Each year 1-10 More businesses in your area pop up and you lose market share.
People who take ither friends job's are jerks and would never be my friends again and i would go after every customer they had buis is buis but u dont taje friends jobs or customers

The customer chooses who they want Chris, you don’t own the customer. If you offer good quality service, fair pricing, and keep your company name fresh in their mind, they’ll likely continue to use you for service rather than switch to someone else.
@@chrisk4109 It seems you still have a lot to learn about life and business. You don’t own the customer. The customer has free will. They can hire whomever they want. In general, customer acquisition cost much more than customer retention. If a customer was happy with your initial cleaning service, than keeping the customer requires you to check in with them from time to time and offer them continued service. I would suggest trying to sell the customer on an maintenance contract that includes regular periodic service. Only when you have the customer already booked for another visit can you truly claim them as “your customer”. Also, you can be friendly with your competition, but they’re not your friends. There’s no friends in business.
Hey mike i got a free quote from next and was quoted for 694 dollars a month and did this steps again and dropped it to about 580 a month which seems pretty pricey to me. Doing a quick google search i get a free quote of 558 dollars a month from progressive do you have any experience or opinions with this company for general liability insurance? 558 a seems like a great deal compared to what i was getting quoted that im skeptical.
@@christophermix6845 that's great! I just didn't understand why the price was so high with next insurance Im just needing general liability insurance for a small business with me being the only owner and no employees doing basic house, concrete, window, and softwash cleaning not to mention I have roughly 4-5 years of industrial pressure washing experience working with a corporation and don't even plan on doing it full time as of right now. I'm not sure what next insurance looks at to determine a price that ridiculous, but that is way out of budget for me.
@@Hotrodhondaas I don't know why either. I'm the same as well, but I do some semi's and heavy equipment. Definitely look around and get lots of quotes. Seems like next is high for everyone. Maybe it's your location? I'm in Missouri.

It's one of the most used names in pressure washing - do you have the name or the logo trademarked? I have mine trademarked.
