I don’t know Connor and until today had not heard of him. If this video is a typical example of his thinking and work - Wow! Finding smart, experienced, wise and humble coaches / consultants is hard. Connor is the real deal. Impressive. Connor I’d love to have a virtual coffee.
Thank you 🙏 glad you stumbled upon this video... and hope you'll check out some of my previous videos... when I find a new channel I often go to their main channel page and look at all their videos in order of popularity - and start looking at their most popular videos first...
For quite some time now, for many of us, Connor has been our mentor, no matter if his mentoring is virtual or in person, the impact that he has on me has been profound and transformative. The way that he transmits his knowledge and teaches is impeccable. Thank you Connor!
These videos have had an enormous impact on my life and career. Thank you Conor!
Thank you Conor for this great video. I always enjoy listening to you. Because I feel that you really want to have a positive impact instead of selling something, telling how successful you are,... You are just a person who wants to help others. And those are exactly my kind of people :-) Thank you so much for your inspiring work.
I appreciate that!
Due to earlier advice from you, Conor, I'm now making extremely good progress in posting videos on 'Retirement.' One has gone as high as 223,000 views! This is leading me into presenting seminars to live audiences on the subject and your current video, "6 Types of questions that Great Coaches use, has certainly put some idea into my mind. Thanks, Conor. Another great video as usual.
That's great!
Thanks Conor, this is very helpful. My students ask for coaching advice and I, it turns out, do do some of this. But now after watching your video I have more to offer. So, yeah, this is a useful framework!
Once again, powerful and great advice !!! Love you Conor
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful video. I am learning every time i view your video. You are my role model. Thank you for always sharing.
Happy to hear that!
Awesome!
Thanks!
I loved "explore options". We're most of the time biased to the first idea that comes to our mind. However, nice solutions usually get into life after being open to different ideas.
great to hear from you Hamed! hope you are doing well
@@ConorNeill thank you Conor, hope you're doing well too
Another great advice. Thank you for this practical wisdom. No bullshit, no unnecessary fluffy words. Love your videos!
Thank you
love it... short, concise, no bull - that's what I am aiming at... and to be clear and understandable from 10 years old to 100 years old.
Interesting ! Liked the approach of 'GREASE' that enables asking intellectual questions to address the core issues blocking our progress. Thank you Conor Sir for your wonderful lesson. Have a productive week ahead.
Glad it was helpful!
Another great video .
I appreciate that
Thanks!
🙏🙏
Love these questions! Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you, it's very inspiring yet so complex work for one person to do - impossible. Well, perhaps with AI or a team. Thank you for sharing
You can do it!
Really helpfull! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Conor - thank you for yet again another great video. I have come a long way in my thinking and actions since I started following your videos on YT and your online course!
Love the acronym by the way! Nice one 😊
Wonderful!
Great explanations. To the point is your style, always. Thanks a lot.
Thank you 🙏 i aim for concise
I follow your channel since ages.
Somehow I remember that you have already taught us this in a former video? Maybe my mind plays a trick on me.
yep, there are a couple of videos about approaches to coaching
@@ConorNeill Thank you for ur reply.
"If it is to be: it's up to me"
I love the acronym, it is an effective memory tool. Personally I struggle with taking actio and I feel so bad about.
your past you has struggled with action... your future you will find a way
Dear Conor, another great video as usual. You talk, on point 5, Understand Situation, about the sources of power. I find very eye opening what you say about competence as a source of power in the early stages of your career, but that is very dangerous to continue relaying in competence as a source of power as you continue to progress in your career (I assume that into management). So my question to you is, what are the source of power at higher levels? Influence? Leadership? How would you frame those sources of power? Thank you
it depends... some sources of power: access to resources, access to senior leaders, access to capital, ability to get people promoted, industry reputation, sales, client relationships...
@@ConorNeill Thanks a lot, you are the best!
