For over sixty years I had the idea that if I couldn't immediately make something look the way I wanted to, I couldn't draw. Thank goodness for CZcams and people who are sharing ways to PRACTICE and improve my drawing. I have always had a desire to draw -- now I have a reason to draw, and with your tutorials I am learning the WAY to draw. Can't thank you enough.

After watching only a few of your videos I am rapidly increasing my drawing ability. I never took the time to learn the fundamentals because it always seemed so boring. Your videos are concised and full of practical information, making them easy to digest. I feel like I leveled up every time I watch one and now I'm drawing more than ever. MUCH GRATITTUDE!

Alphonso: As an owner of your Workbook, I think I have a good suggestion for you. I would love to see a PDF of just textures. Just like the ones in your Workbook and shown here. I love sitting in front of the TV and using various pens, just filling a small rectangle with textures. Shaded, flat, intricate. Doesn't matter. Seeing your linework helps me immeasurably. Can't wait to see the next book. I think a PDF for $10 would be a great value just to have these at hand.

Not only are you a very talented artist but you are also a very gifted instructor! I've been working my way through your tutorials and have had so many ah-ha moments while doing so. I was starting to lose my motivation for learning with other people's tutorials since many skip steps and important building blocks and/or do such a poor job of explaining and illustrating the lesson. Your tutorials are clear and concise and the lesson you're teaching is easy to understand. You have renewed my fire for learning! I just ordered your book and look forward to working my way through the rest of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, providing such a wonderful and truly helpful resource for learning!

I must say I enjoyed this immensely. There was wood, straw, marble, sponge, and sundry. It was hard to choose a favorite. However, there came number nine, the closer, and everything came tumbling down. It was indeed abstract, but unfortunately it didn't belong ; something of a "seventies" feel about it. However, you're certainly a deft hand, and you bring life very vividly into your textures. Thank you for sharing.
