My grandpa owned the Conway Welding Services in this small town of Commanche Texas. He has passed away last April and he was well known by helping farmers with their windmills and their machines for years and he has been such an inspiration to me. His name was Cliff Conway and I'm sure many have met him if you live in Commanche.
Your grandpa sounds like an amazing person. I wish I could have met him.

I remember visiting family in Comanche when I was about 7 years old. My family lived in a more isolated house with lots and lots of trees surrounding the place. The house was so old and the stories they would tell really traumatized me at that age. The nights were pitch black. They had no close neighbors around and the overall feel was eerie. I couldn’t sleep and remember the feel of someone watching me at all times but I never opened my eyes. My family couldn’t bare much and left a few weeks later. It was as if the place was haunted and they wanted everyone out. I get goosebumps just typing this. The entrance to their home was dangerous from what I can recall as a child. It was like a dirt narrow road but a short piece of it was somewhat of a dirt bridge. If you moved your car a little too much to the left or to the right you’d fall on the body of water underneath. I hated it, but this video really intrigued me into going back and finding that place.
