I'd come to class talking about Steve Martin and John Candy and Eddie Murphy and they were all watching cartoons and playing Nintendo. I've listened to them all from Carlin and Pryor and Murphy, and Kinison to the SNL guys, to Burr, Chapelle, Jeselnik and Segura. Seen many of them live too. Dice is the GOAT. The moment he steps on stage the audience goes berserk and he hasn't even spoken a word yet. He was literally a rockstar. From all the live acts I've seen in 30 years, he's the only one who has people in tears of joy and laughter for 60 minutes straight. He is the only stand up comedian who is constantly quoted and copied. Read any interview from any comic over the last 25 years and each and every one of them will tell you that Dice was amongst, if not their #1 influence. And if it wasn't for the sensitive pussies of America, he would have been a superstar. He was a decent singer, and actually a very good actor. And the biggest names in the music industry wanted to produce his live albums. He never gets political or complains about the news, and he doesn't do the lame family jokes and having kids and a wife boring material. I'm happy to further this conversation if you're up for it. I love stand-up comedy and I've been listening to comedians since I was a little kid in the '90s and there's never been anybody like Dice. ✌️

They have to have Guy Ritchie direct a movie with Dice and Bill Burr as star actors. The 3 of them can probably write the script in less than a week. Let's do it!!

Dice was a gimmicky comic. The crowd went to see his greatest hits and one liners. The material itself wasn't very good. He was a cartoon character. It's no surprise his popularity skyrocketed and then plummeted never to return again.
