- In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to use the best shortcut keys while in slideshow mode in Microsoft PowerPoint.
0:00 Introduction
1:30 W to set the screen to white
2:45 B to set the screen to black
3:09 Number followed by Enter to jump to slide
3:39 CTRL S to bring up slide selector
4:03 CTRL P to bring up the Pen

Many nice tricks here.
Shift+F5 to start presentation from current slide is quite useful. If you jump out of the presentation to correct something or show something outside the presentation, and then whant to jump back to
where you left the presentation. F5 will start from beginning, Shift+F5 will start from current slide.

Extremely useful! I was irritated by the lack of (knowledge of the) shortcuts for laser pointer, pen and eraser. In the old days the actual shortcut for a command was displayed in the items in the main or pop-up menus. Since PowerPoint does not show these shortcuts I assumed they don't exist. But they do and it's awesome!

How do you change the titles of the slides so that they are more meaningful when you bring up the view all slides option shown when navigating?
great tutorial kevin - i have recently started using a lot of teams presentation. one thing that is a little irksome for me is that i cannot see myself speaking while presenting...is that something which is normal and intended or is there a fix for that? That does not happen while sharing a screen or presentation on zoom. Is there some setting I would need to change? any help appreciated

Okay I'm going to add a shortcut that's fairly fundamental but helped me a lot press shift and F5 to jump to the slide you're viewing instead of F5 and starting all over from the beginning

How do I toggle between normal presenting mode then Alt+F5 presenter mode then from presenter mode back to normal presenting mode? With the updated version of Teams, we have live presenter mode with notes, but I have a slide with a link I need to open and do a live internet demonstration but it means my audience will not be able to see the demo. How do I get links to open and show while in live presenter mode or is this not yet possible?

Is there a way to convert the subtitles that are generated by your voice (after hitting "J" to turn on subtitles) into notes for each of the slides. I can think of a use case where this would come in handy, for example, when you do a dry run for a presentation, and using the notes, converted from subtitles, provides a jump start for your presentation narrative. What am I missing? I hold the CTRL+P in my slideshow for the pen, and the program reverts to Print dialogue!

They wil present one after another during class hour. have to make one at a time as presenter and others as attendee. how to manage the time of toggling between students to do these 2 operations.
