Crime can’t be up because you can do anything you want in SF without enforcement

Here's a thought, actually do some journalism and report to us how the crime statistics are collected and calculated.

$112k salary and they're spending times in restaurants ($$-$$$). No more donuts. Easy job when you can ignor petty crimes. I just witness 2 juvenile girls at Walgreens ran with X numbers of merchandises. They were fast and the Walgreens clerk couldn't do a thing. Sad day, hope this Walgreens stay open.

@@j.t.5826 This is two months old? Besides that, I've turned down the offer multiple times. No.. . I don't like the history and the thought of working for the corrupted and oppressing people.
This is going to get lengthy so I'll stop here, sorry.

I’m going to take a wild guess here, so defunding the police was just a political slogan. Hopefully the slogan made liberals feel better.

It means nothing to the SF residences unless the crimes are under control. Robberies are still taking place daily in the Mission area. According to the report, the crimes are being committed within 6-7 blocks in the same neighborhood on a daly basic. SFPD needs to step up and arrest these robbers instead of ignoring them.

112k a year that is more than teachers earn in those areas

  • @DevilDogDen1775
    @DevilDogDen1775 Před 4 měsíci +5

Not everyone who graduates is going to make it past probation, and by looking at some of these recruits, the physical fitness standards are obviously very lax. Obese public employees are a huge burden on the tax base because of medical issues. Not to mention the fact that many probationary officers might decide that this isn't for them, etc... So, high academy numbers don't automatically translate into officers on the street. Add to that the stupidly high cost of living in the Bay Area.... Another exercise in futility.... And a HUGE WASTE of taxpayer dollars....

In order to give this police department a fighting chance of really making a dent in crime is to properly empower them to be able to hold the criminals accountable.
The way we do that is to start voting differently at the Local level and get these sorry people out of office like mayor London Breed and mayor Sheng Thao across the way.
These women are running the Bay Area into the Ground smh 🤦🏾‍♂️
They need to get booted and get back underneath the covering of a man.

I don’t feel that the crime is getting worse in the city. I feel that there is noting being done to help prevent these people these criminals from going down the path of crime and nothing being done to help the criminals committing the crimes get off this path. I don’t think that more Police are going to help the situation. The city needs to work on solving for the root causes of this problem.

    • @pandacub6164

It is not the anyone elses responsibilities to turn criminals the right path besides the family that raised them. You want the root cause to why criminals do what they do? Make the choices they make? How about go after the families of them. Most of these criminals do not have role models because their father ran out on them and that's the cold hard truth. It isn't even a stereotype, it's known facts. You say they don't have opportunity? Public school is free but let me guess, joining a gang is easier for them. You say they can't go back to school? They can do labor work, or just work hard. People like you are part of the problem that are in denial of the crime happening around the Bay Area that will keep coddling these criminals until you end up encountering one yourself.

Yes, more officers help with being able to respond to calls. Know what works by being tough on crime and what needs to happen. There is no rehabilitating repeat offenders. There need to be harsher punishments for crime. This soft-on crime has made everything worse.

people like Isaac is 100% why we are in the mess we are today. People like him feel sympathy for criminals and want the city to get therapists for each and every one of them and find the root cause of their problems when we already know it's the family. But no one will admit it because they'll call it racist.@@chrismadison305

You can hire everyone's city of San Francisco to become a comp and the crime will still be the same if not even worse. You don't realize you're not talking about the root of the problem, not even doing infestive journalism. You're just giving mouthpiece marketing advertisement

    Overall Crime rates:
San Francisco > Oakland > Sacramento > Stockton
    6700/100K > 6459/100K > 4,400/100K > 4259/100K
Google it. Oakland and Stockton have higher rates of violent crime, but most of that is gang on gang crime. Realistically, Stockton could be listed as the safer large city in the region you go to to get away from crime.
