@Cole Webb nah. Youre a fool. Dirk was one of the most clutch players in nba history
@Cole Webb I know what you mean, but I wouldn't agree. Like Dame, he struggled to get far in the playoffs, not because of his individual class, but because his teams were mostly trash and like Dame, this doesn't change the fact that you could just give him the ball and he would go to work and get you buckets
@Cole Webb Ok. Fair Point

Kinda hard to believe that Ray Allen is only an honorable mention, he hit way WAY more clutch shots than the game 5 one vs the Spurs

Not ever. How u gonna chose a Dude who only played for ten years with the celtics, over somebody who spent atleast 12-14 years with a team who hit more clutch shots🤔

@@expertfishy8135 you’re moving the goal post as you first said in your comment that he was the most clutch player ever which in fact he’s not
One thing I learned, I do NOT want Paul George guarding the guy taking the last shot on the opposing team 😂
Why? He’s the best perimeter defender on whatever team he’s on
My top 20 of the greatest clutch players of all times. I have to say I made the list based on the definition of a clutch player as the guy most able to win games in the last minutes/seconds with either a score, defensive play or assist, the player you can count on with the game on the line. So I used the strict definition, not the broader one that includes for example players known for turning up their game in the playoffs or other important games ( then the list would have included guys like Olajuwon, Rondo, ... and the order would have been different):
20) Allen Iverson
19) Isiah Thomas
18) Kahwi Leonard
17) Nikola Jokic
16) Dwayne Wade
15) John Havliceck
14) Dirk Nowitzki
13) Damian Lillard
12) Paul Pierce
11) Kevin Durant
10) Reggie Miller
9) Ray Allen
8) Kareem Abdul Jabbar
7) LeBron James
6) Magic Johnson
5) Kobe Bryant
4) Steph Curry
3) Jerry West
2) Michael Jordan
1) Larry Bird
Yes folks, Larry Joe Bird was the clutchest SOB in the history of probably any team sport! If there was any time left on the clock, he would make the shot, plus tell his defender how the play would be ran and from which exact spot he would shoot the ball! He did it so many times everyone expected him to make every last second shot! The most legendary clutch performer by far! Total BS he's only at 5 in this list, clearly made by a young guy who never saw Bird play ( I did). He made WAY more than 4 clutch shots, even his random highlight clips show more clutch scores. Even MJ will admit Bird was the coldest killer he ever played against.
Finally I would also like to give an honourable mention to Drazen Petrovic, who is often forgotten and had a short NBA career. He was clutch as hell his entire career. Another clutch player a lot of people never even heard of, was Mahmoud Abdul Rauf!
Great list except lebron is not top 10. I honestly would hesitate to put him top 20. He's made 19 out of 107 shots in clutch situations (17.8%) in his career. 12.5% from 3 point range in clutch situations in his career. If you have mj in 2nd with 50% in clutch situations in his career, then lebron shouldn't be anywhere near the top 5
@@biz09ification I guess you didn’t watch the video😂
@lookatzay4813 did video just showed a few moments from a few games. Put into the context of his career, lebron is atrocious in the clutch. Unlike you, I don't get all of my information from youtube. It's not hard to find the stats
@lookatzay4813 also since writing my original comment, lebrons career clutch stats have gotten worse. 20 out of 118 shots in clutch 17.5%, that's 98 misses out of 118. 12.3% from 3 point range. He's literally missed 50 out of 57 shots from 3 point range in the last 5 seconds to tie or win the game in 4th quarter or overtime in his career
@@biz09ification he literally just said the stats lol, also I don’t think he did enough research cause if you look it up it says lebron is the most clutch of all time
you already know dame gonna be here
I mean he is in the thumbnail
Where's T Mac?
Players:
- Dwyane Wade
- Joe Johnson
- Reggie Miller
- Jerry West
- Paul Pierce
- Larry Bird
- Damian Lillard
- Robert Horry
- Ray Allen
- Kyrie Irving
- Kawhi Leonard
- Kobe Bryant
- Lebron James
- Michael Jordan
Now I know... Lebron is a clutch player. I don't know why I had the idea he always passes the ball in the last seconds.
Bc he doesn’t play hero ball, always just looking to make the right play instead
Yeah that what make him clutch making the right play no matter what people said he ignored the hater and is continuing to prove why he is atleast top 3 maybe the best player all time
He's not clutch he's the opposite of clutch. He passes the ball because he's 82.2% likely to brick if it's the last shot, 87.5% likely to brick if its the last shot from 3 point range. He's made 19 out of 107 shots in clutch situations in his career, 17.8%. He's 12.5% in clutch situations from 3 point range in his career. Jordan is 50% in clutch situations in his career. Lebron shouldn't even be on this list. And the "always make the right play" narrative is completely false. Numerous times he has passed the ball out to a shooter while driving to the hoop only for said shooter to miss. Instead of going for the 2 points or foul because he's also a bad free throw shooter especially in clutch situations.
What’s it like, to be blind and ignorant?
Man where's KD?
