8:50 he interfered with a ball while the balls were still in play? seems like that should call for a penalty?

He waits to move the cueball after it has finished the contact with 5 balls. I think it's ok and good sportsmanship from FSR

It look to me like the pink ball was still rolling in motion when he touched the cue ball with the cue stick? In tennis at least, even if the ball is clearly hit out of bounds, you lose the point if you touch it before it bounces.@@ceqesh

@@barryzeeberg3672it was a foul. he did this to make it clear. Are you saying that he should loose the rack because of it?

No I did not say that. I was asking if that would call for a penalty, and I did not suggest what the penalty might be.@@Agiyi

@@barryzeeberg3672ok. the shot was already a foul before that. When he stroke the cue ball with the bridge, his hand moved the 7 ball by accident, so it was a foul. He touched the cue ball after to show that he acknowledges the foul and make it obvious, even if his opponent didn't see it. And indeed, you see Filler getting up and taking ball in hand, so to answer your question, yes him touching the cue ball was a foul and he got penalized for it, but it was already a foul and he would get penalized regardless. It's a very common thing to do (tap the cue ball) when a foul like this happens, when you call a foul on yourself in a situation that your opponent might not see it or be sure about it, it's a way to acknowledge the foul and remove all doubt.
