Totally agree. Most top professionals are gutted (and probably angry with themselves) when they lose a final. However, how you conduct yourself in defeat says alot about your character. There's no denying the quality of Jayson as a player but he's fallen short again in terms of sportsmansip and has gone down in my estimate.

I've never seen that. someone not getting up to shake hands, it wasn't even Francisco fault and he had his chances.
Losing the match is tough, but losing face is SO much worse. I came here to learn about pool but came away with an important lesson about life.

@@uncledude2091 JJ was originally the non-playing captain in the 2021 Mosconi Cup, but was drafted in to play when Earl Strickland was not allowed to play after someone on his plane flight tested positive for Covid-19.
JJ played really well in Earl's place until he asked the referee to clean the cue ball during the 30-second shot clock, thinking the clock would stop while the cue ball was being cleaned, but it does not and he committed a time foul that effectively cost him his match and America the competition.

@@uncledude2091 I did genuinely feel for him as he seems quite a likeable bloke, and even the European team felt bad for him too.
Nice action by both players during the match,, Jay ,, I know the feelings,, buttt , just play the game and be back the next tourney, these are really a couple of the best in the World.

Considero que es una falta de respeto y una actitud antideportiva y poco profesional la asumida por Jayson Shaw al no pararse de su asiento para darle la mano a Francisco como lo hacen los grandes jugadores de Pool aceptando su derrota. Quien no quiera perder en este hermoso deporte, es sencillo, que no juegue, porque como ganar perder también es parte de esta actividad lo cual te sirve de experiencia y te compromete a seguir mejorando cada día para alcanzar tus objetivos. Tal vez me estoy metiendo en cosas que no son de mí incumbencia, pero no fue conmigo y me molestó..... Saludos Francisco.
