It actually seems to be a very cool concept to make farming games more entertaining for certain players, mixing it with some of Pokemon, Pikmin style + with cool recognizable designs from a well known mangaka. That's a super combo of many different inspirations that could make something great emerge from this. Looking forward to it. Hope the graphics will improve a bit though.

They got fusion summoning from yu-gi-oh monsters that look like they can come from bakugan or some character from chaotic. Let alone harvest moon. They really pulled from every genre. Hope the game is good

One of greatest traits Mashima has in his art stlye is he always create main characters with the same design from his previous works.

I don't know if people on the internet are dumb or braindead but I'm still going say that, every mangaka has their own art style.
@@austerplay47 Big difference between art style and character design. You can have a consistent art style and also have unique, original character design. You can also have a consistent art style and UNoriginal character design, like here. Similar example is Disney animation, yes Disney have a consistent art style but they also have incredibly unoriginal character design to the point all their women have same-face syndrome.

Last year I hear rumors from Forneverworld (Now renamed TIM Anime) about Hiro Mashima (Rave Master, Fairy Tail, Eden Zero) doing research and experimenting into the gaming section, besides working with Manga. Looking at this trailer makes me see how hardworking is Mr. Mashima within the artistic animated entertainment.
What are these names? Felicidad? Like the christmas song? The oppressive Magus? What sort of villain-name is Magus?

Wonderful 101 farming sim
always said that Hiro Mashimas character designs should be feutured in a game so I m glad to see that here. That being said, this type of ame may not be my type of it. Hopefully the future will show more games but his design. Say what you want of his designs (NOT REALLY), but the man has great stamina in his art.

I've been wanting a a sequel to the Fairy Tail RPG since I finished it thoroughly AND we got a farming game with Hiro Mshima's designs in Farmagia !!! Plus I'm interested in Dragon Quest + Marvel vs Capcom collection. This direct was perfect to me. 10/10 my personal favorite Nintendo Direct ever!!!! 🔥

It’s Marvelous, the og farming game company since 1996. Look at their farming sim library, their stuff is pretty good.
Its giving me Overlord vibes with the monsters and minions and I love it. Also, that is one thick heroine my lord, she makes Ten look like a noodle by comparison.

I saw this in the Nintendo Direct live! Can’t wait! I am a big fan of Edens Zero and Fairy Tail! I love Hiro Mashima and his work!!! I love the Pokémon crossed with farming sim gameplay! I will definitely be getting this day 1!

You know, imma say it. Minus the weird graphics and really weird game title, this looks fun for the most part, but not something I'd religiously play. For a "farming sim," the idea is creative and it at least has a story so you're not just stuck playing 18 hours in planting your 30th batch of potatoes and sunflowers and so forth.
So amazing that the artist of this game is Mr. Mashima who created the Fairy Tail and Eden Zero manga series.🙂

So this is Mashima designing for a RPG a la Toriyama
This game might have the potential to become a pokemon alternative, it takes some elements from survival games (that are really popular today) and mix them with pokemon, but I don't know if having so many at the same time will be a good thing, imo one thing that make pokemon games work is that you have few pokemon and they need a lot of effort to become strong, having so many will make them lose value.
Also, imo is too focused on the characters, in pokemon the characters are just moving skin so the game can make you focus on the pokemons, here's they look actual characters, like in other jrpgs
