I’m sad that she passed away aged 85 but four years retirement must have driven her up the wall after such an incredible life. I hope she is rejuvenated and reunited with her family again in Heaven 💐🙏
Yaphet Kotto also had a role in "Nothing But a Man" (1964), was, and remains, one of my favorite movies produced starring Ivan Dixon, it can be likened to the British genre of movies at the time called "kitchen sink dramas", about the struggles of ordinary working class people, totally absorbing, and great performances by all involved. Like John Cassavetes, Dixon did his "Hogans..." series to pay the rent and put food on the table, but his first love was indie productions.
