The fact that this gentleman, played the original Pinhead, and manages to sound so peaceful, eloquent, and absolutely friendly, is a testament to his talents as an actor. His voice was so powerful, and yet he manages to sound like a college professor during a lecture. So much respect. I enjoy your readings very much. But watching you read and narrate, made me start audiobooks, and then finally moved up to actual books nowadays. And I wanted to confess that for a while. And you gave me the enthusiasm to do so. Thank you sir. I was never a reader for 42 years. And you turned me into one. I hope I can do the same for someone else someday.
I'm glad I decided to include listening to a haunting tale in my Friday the 13th horrorthon this year. Whew, those last two lines, "And to Jack, I must suppose, came his wife. So he joined her," what a striking ending. Thank you for bringing this eerie tale to life with such finesse!

I first found him doing the audiobook for Clive Barker’s Mr. B Gone. It was fantastic and it made so much sense because Doug and Clive work so well together!
Brilliant work! Would you ever consider reading the works of Algernon Blackwood or Guy de Maupussant? "The Tomb of Sarah" by F.G. Loring is one of the most chilling stories I've ever read. Also, "The Cone" by H.G. Wells set the scene for one of the most terrifying scenes of revenge in the English language. Edit: You would be most excellent reading "To Build A Fire" by Jack London. Hands down, that is the scariest story I've ever read!
