  • Join us as we hike through Foothill Regional Park in Windsor, California. 95 percent of Foothill Regional Park in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains that was burned during the Kincade fire in 2019. The parks oak woodlands are slowly recovering as are the rolling hillsides. In our hike we will move through the recovering oak woodlands and rolling hillside to ridge-top views of northern Sonoma County. There are three ponds, grassy meadows, two dogs protecting a herd of grazing goats and a variety of birds.

The fire must have been bad, in some small areas the ground is still black & a considerable amount of trees didn't survive. Beautiful place tho glad it's recovering. Thank you for sharing.

It was a terrible fire with 95% of the park effected. I visited the park when it reopened (a couple of months after the fire) and it was devastating to see the damage. Thank you for watching Keys On The Go.
