And you know what, I learned the meaning of N word just when I was 18 and started speaking English fluently and consuming English media, before that I never heard anyone say it and only heard in western movies but it was in Russian dub and the were saying it just in Russian 💀

lol, right...several of the episodes are based on real events(with parts almost taken verbatim): 1. the ep with the kid that stole his grandma's car, 2. the booty warrior from prison, 3. The R Kelly ep., and maybe a few more that I forgot...classic.

As a black person, I can say,
“Ga” is what other black folks say to others as a means of like “homie”
“Ger” is the slur that white people called slaves…and still call us these days.

I think a lot of non black people say it because 1. It’s like a restricted word from everyone else things your told not to do you want to do 2. The common use of nigga which I too am at fault of using probably too much 3. It gets a reaction out of people.
This show is still pretty spot on with our country 😂

I'm African. Thanks to social media and tv, the n word is casually thrown around by kids and young adults in urban areas now. Personally, i think all the justifications for keeping the word that I've heard are a bit stupid. I'd rather it went away completely but hey, it's not my culture.
By the way, it would be awesome if you reacted to some of the real life inspirations for episodes like this! It's so funny how thin the line is between reality and parody!

I think non black people want to say it so bad because it's apart of pop culture. It's a word that is used in rap and in film. Since rap is one of the most popular genres of music in the world, they are exposed to the word all the time. They want to "fit in" and they probably think it sounds cool to say. I'm a black American so I don't truly know but that is the sense I get when people who aren't black want to say it so bad.

  • @XsauldawgX

Black person here, "Ga" is a universal term for buddy or dude. "Ger" is basically the slur word to be hyper offensive towards a black person. But truth be told a lot of black people would get pissed off or bewildered at anyone not black saying either of those. Black people are ok with GA amongst only each other and Ger is just offensive all across the boards even for blacks

It also depends on the community and where you grew up too, i've seen plenty of white people say the n word and not get push back from the black folk around them. Not justifying that but it's a thing in certain cities/neighborhoods

Ah, the s word. I guess it's still targeted at black people, but pointing to their tribal origins in Africa. The insult i guess is in the implication that we are backwards and barbaric (imagine the drawings of Africans by some of the first white explorers/colonialists or some of the stuff they used to do in early animations)
