    Hi everyone, today I am going to do something epic. Melbourne’s tram network is the biggest in the world with over 250 kilometres of track built and over one thousand seven hundred and sixty three stops. What I am going to do is attempt to take the longest feasible tram journey ever in one day.
    For my journey, I will be starting at Bundoora RMIT on the route 86 line where I will be riding the tram all the way to the city. Next I will change at Swanston street and ride the route 6 tram to Moreland, where I will change for the route 19 tram going to the city. Next I will change at the Flemington road roundabout for the route 59 tram going to airport west. I will get off at Moonee ponds where I will get the route 82 tram. Then I will get off at Union road where I will ride the route 57 tram going to the city again. I will get off at Latrobe street where I will ride the city circle or 35 tram going out to waterfront city docklands. Next I will ride the route 70 tram bound for wattle park to get to Spencer street, where I will ride the route 96 tram along the saint Kilda light rail. As I get to Fitzroy street I will change for the route 16 tram and ride it to saint Kilda road, where I will change for the route 67 tram for Carnegie. As I ride the tram I will get off at Hawthorn road where I will get the route 64 tram bound for the city. I will get off a high street where I will get the route 6 tram again bound for glen iris. Next, I will change at chapel street for the route 78 tram bound for north Richmond. As I get close to east Richmond station, I will get off at swan street and change for the 70 tram again bound for wattle park. Once I get to Glenferrie road, I will change for the route 16 tram for the city and get off at Malvern road to catch the route 72 bound to camberwell. As I reach the end of the line, I will ride the route 109 tram all the way to the city. Lastly I will change for the route 58 tram for bourke street where I will change for the route 86 tram to go back home.
    The approximate duration of the wacky journey is around 7 hours as we may hit delays or traffic and for the trip home. I will be taking some morning tea and some lunch with me as I will be doing this for one entire day. Hope you guys enjoy my wacky tram trip, which is something that can’t be done nowhere else in the world.

    This is simply an awesome type of video, and especially about the trams of my home city, which are really significant to me. So glad to be here, I guess. 😄

    Hi Masina. My name is Christopher. And i am going to do my own wacky tram adventure later this month. That's after my tooth surgery. I'm doing that the weekend after that over 2 days. I will film
    throughout the entire trip and post it onto CZcams in two parts. Thank you.

    i wish a non-intersecting trip like this was possible with the train network, i feel really uncomfortable on trams but the trains are a lot better. i guess i'll have to wait until i'm 40 when the Surburban Rail Loop will be finished

    Oh Crab! You have “Combino’s” too ?
    To operate a tram line every 20 minutes is NOT a good service.
    I’m used to do tram-trips everywhere I can, this is real sightseeing and show you not only the beautiful places of a City .
    Oh my Tramway!
    The BUMBLEBEE !!!
    My hometown tram in exile!!! Sniff 😢 😃

      @Leila Pirova Melbourne has 2 zones and a free zone in the city centre area and once you touch your card twice in one day its free for the rest of the day if I'm not mistaken.

    That worlds worst tram is made worse by it being a low floor tram. Like, the process of making it a low floor tram means that literally there are less seats to sit in. The two ends of the tram have literally jack all seating. Now, if the tram were 5 carriages long with the centre being super long, sure, but, it only has one central area, and the vast majority of the passengers end up here. That thing you were sitting on was the trams motors and wheels. It's a terrible tram, but the cause of why this tram is so terrible is the compromise for making it low floor. If they just put some steps in and raised the front and back, this entire problem wouldn't exist.

    • @AheadMatthewawsome
      @AheadMatthewawsome Před 2 lety +4

      All trams in Melbourne need to be low floor, as required under the Australian Disability Discrimination Act of 1992. Having a Disability myself, already Public Transport is very difficult, it would be even worse not being able to board one just because of a few stairs!

      @@AheadMatthewawsome but not the entire damn tram. Like you could have those parts higher it's not like wheelchairs can get in there anyways
