About:
In this video, Anna and Tyler compare Universal Studios Seasonal Pass to single day and multi-day tickets to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, FL. Annual passes often make sense to purchase if you are staying multiple days, but only if you are willing to avoid blackout dates. Let us know if you think an annual pass is worth it in the comments section below.

You guys are so helpful. This is the second video of yours I have watched today about universal and I’m so glad to have found you! I love how you don’t get sales pitchy and just give the actual facts. Thank you!
Awh, thank you so much! We’ve learned a lot through our trips to the parks, and we just want to help others enjoy their vacations to the fullest. We’re so glad you’ve enjoyed our videos, and we’d be happy to answer any questions (if we can)!
I have loved my annual pass this year. Going to change it up next year and probably just do meet ups and do annual to seaworld and busch. But then 2025 back to annual at Universal depending on epic...😮
You don't need a Florida drivers license to get annual pass any lease agreement bills or mortgage paperwork you can get the Florida discount.😀
Hi Anna & Tyler! Nice video on the Annual Passes, sorry that you missed out on the 6month free promotion. I purchased my 1st annual pass in October 2018 and was able to get that 6 month free deal and then when I renewed they had a 3 month free promotion. Ah, the good old days, you are taking me back. 😂. When I purchased my pass my brother was in town with his family for a trip to Disney and they wanted to spend a day at Universal and we ate a 3 Broom Sticks, there were a total of 12 of us and the AP Discount was so large my brother told me that I didn’t need to contribute to the bill. They discounts add up fast. One thing that they did since HHN was cancelled in 2020, was they gave us all a free bring a friend ticket for the parks that was good until the end of the year. Ken
Oh gosh, Ken. This is an OLD one 😂😂 it takes us back to think of this video, too! The passholder discounts are amazing, though. We love getting to scan our discounts for friends and family when they visit!
@@ThePughTwo yes, it is so satisfying! But what is even more satisfying is when your Team Member friend get you their special holiday discounts! 😃😃😃
Thank you for the information! 😁👍🎉✈
We’re so glad it helped you! We appreciate the support!
Keep up the good work mates!!
Thanks, Matt!
Being a former TM of 4 years for Guest Services. You two nailed a lot of points and tips that made me think you worked there. Awesome information and will definitely let other people know to check out your channel for tips and info. What part of Tennessee, we live in Jonesborough
Awh! You’re so sweet! We’re not workers.. just obsessed with the parks 😂 we’re so glad you enjoyed the video, though, and thank you for sharing with others! We’re originally from Cookeville, TN, but recently moved to Orlando!
@@ThePughTwo that is awesome, we are moving back to Sanford come mid March. Miss working at the theme parks way to much since here lol. Welcome to Orlando!!
Great information! And I like your giant dog!
Thank you so much for watching! We love them and are quite fond of them ourselves!
@@ThePughTwo - Regarding UOAP's, we spent 11 days at Royal Pacific, and were "coached" by an on-line Universal Orlando Resort representative to buy annual passes, and we specifically bought the ones that would allow a significant discount on our hotel (six months in advance). Upon arrival and check-in, the discount was "no longer available"???? It would have saved us $40/night. But, we were pleased with the tons of discounts everywhere! It was well-worth the money. We have been to Universal Orlando 17 times now, more than 100 nights at Royal Pacific. We consider it our "winter condo".
@@mattrost2574 that’s awesome! Royal Pacific is one of our favorite places to stay. It took us a little while to figure out the UOAP hotel discount, but you can see the rates online and book it through the UOAP site! When we book a vacation, we frequently check back on the site, just to see if they’re offering a better deal. The reps are so helpful, and will always rebook you at the better price!
Hi thanks for all the universal suggestions and tips. I love your channel. Your facts have been very helpful! I'm planning my first last minute universal vacation for 2021 and was wondering with the seasonal annual pass, am I able to use that with my first visit? I am looking to get 3 day park tickets and would like to save $ on the premier hotels. Also how do I get the hotel discount with the annual pass? Do I tell them at the time when booking?
You can absolutely use the seasonal pass the first time you visit. There are several locations in the hotels and in Citywalk/right outside the parks that you can pick up your annual pass. We talked about booking the UOAP hotel discounts in one of our more recent videos, but there’s a page on Universal’s website where you can book the discounted rates. You don’t have to have anything when you book it, but you do have to have your annual pass when you check in. Again, there is a ticketing counter in each on-site hotel, so you can just pick it up before you check in. We go over this process in a lot more detail in our UOAP tips & tricks video. We hope this helps!
@@ThePughTwo Thanks so much!
@@morganmccartney6145 we’re always happy to help!
How many days should I stay for, it'll be our first time. I'm confused on how many parks and what is volcano bay?
That is personal preference with how many days. We think 3-4 days is a perfect trip if you are wanting to experience everything in both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. As far as Volcano Bay goes, it is Universals water park. We have actually never been but we hear AMAZING things about it!
I do think i want to get a lanyard. Need one like tylers blue velocicoaster one. That one sweet. I just carry too much with me most of the time. I need to limit that though
The VC one is so good! They’re super convenient when you’re in the parks, especially if you have express!
@ThePughTwo yeah. Getting on next time i come down. Thanks guys
How would it work if i am about to book a trip. With it saying that it doesnt go into effect until you go to the park for the first time, am i still able to book and get the hotel discount?
Yes we believe that will still work. You just have to have it at the time of check in. Many of the properties on sight allow you to pick up your annual pass at the concierge. We would just be extra safe and ask the representative when you call to book. They are amazing and will make sure everything goes smoothly! Thanks for watching!
@@ThePughTwo awesome thanks for the info.I called and booked our trip, they said the 2021 annual passes werent available yet, but i can change our reservation later. Thanks so much for the help!
Of course! We hope you have an amazing time! If you ever have any question please do not hesitate to ask. We love helping! Take care.
Have yall done volcano bay?
We have!! Only once, though. We need to go back!
@@ThePughTwo yeah never been. Need a review from yall on how to do it 👌
